I find this strange) Edit: I found the culprit, it was WorldGuard's region flag called "Access Chest", once i re-enabled it, it started to work

Might’ve done something wrong but in my bedrock world, the jukebox won’t stop playing even when I lock my jukebox with the lever, do you know what this is the case?
@rattmannslab
Ай бұрын
Hmmm... Afraid I didn't test to see if the off lever worked on bedrock edition. My first guess is maybe the jukebox block doesn't count as a solid block in bedrock edition, so the lever on the jukebox doesn't send a redstone signal through the jukebox to lock the hopper. You could try placing the lever on the floor next to the hopper and see if it will lock the hopper that way.

Thanks!!! But how can i make it toggleable instead of automatic?
@rattmannslab
Ай бұрын
If you want to toggle it on/off from auto playing music discs endlessly, then you can place a lever on the side of the lower dropper. When this lever is switched on, it will stop another disc from being played until the lever is switched off. (I showed at the end of this video that you can place the lever on the side of the jukebox block itself, but this placement of the lever will only work on Java edition) If instead you are wanting a manual way to trigger each next disc to play (i.e. pressure plate every time you enter your base), you'll simply need 1 observer placed so that it will directly power the lower dropper when activated (just remember to remove the other observers that cause it to autoplay in this video, or it will still just autoplay discs). And then you can rig up any sort of trigger that will activate that observer. From something as simple as a button placed on the face of the observer, or some complex farm that will trigger a music disc to play every time its storage is full.

The droppers get powered from the redstone dust. But only when the dust is in + form. If you right click the dust into • form, then it will stop powering the droppers. 🤔 Huh... I guess that's another way you could toggle the auto play on and off. Just right-click the redstone dust to change its form. I didn't think about that before. 😅 But if you toggle it off this way, you would need to manually play a disc to start the auto playing loop again.

It will continue playing once you go back into range of the chunk. I've had this auto jukebox forever playing discs on my world for months now, and I've never had to do anything to fix it when I go back into loading range of the chunk. One thing I have noticed though is, when you go back to the jukebox, you often won't hear any music if a disc was in the middle of its song when you got back. But once that disc's time is finished you'll be able to hear the next disc when it starts.
