11:38 remember to add a ticking area around the command blocks, so if you adventure through the whole thing and it suddenly stops working there's nothing to keep the chunks loaded, so a ticking area basically tells the game: keep these chunks loaded forever.

Very smart solution to a problem that so many struggle with. I'm personally a command blocker too and while I did try to make a smaller, more compact version of this, I really couldn't do it. I always feel like all the redstoners get a name for something they've come up with. So with that, I dub this the ACE-method😂

You are so underated man

It sorta worked but it would keep generating rooms in the same spot and the armor stands wouldn’t die unless they were close to the kill command block, and that would kill them too soon leaving a blank space. Also I would have to get really close to make it generate, and it would still take a while. Once it got too laggy I killed all the armor stands but now it won’t work anymore.

This is very over complicated, but still good. Lot of redstone when most have one repeating and a line of chain command blocks, and then one command block to start everything. Don’t get me sounding mean or condescending, this is just cool you built it this way even if it has bugs.

Great tutorial, but there area lot of bugs, as in not generating fast enough and generating different structures in a structure that has already been loaded, but other than that, it's very nice.(Defenitely did not spend 4 hours of my life just trying to fix the bugs...) Edit: Day 2 and I got it to work efficiently, lag free, and very quickly. The rooms are loading in so quickly that they cause the litlle bit of lag that there is instead of the armor stands. I also decreased the amount of command blocks significantly😊 (Other than the room generating command blocks)

@@Bloop14 Ok, so I dont know how to really explain it, but I can add you and show you how to fix them if you want. Also, there is no way to fix it missing spots or stopping generation, because it is randomized, but you can decrease the amount of spots it misses by increasing how many targets the room generators have for example, execute at @e[type=armor_stand,tag=the_one,name=summon_rooms,c=2] if block ~~~ air run structure room1 ~-4~~-4

How do you fix the structures generating inside of eachother?

Great tutorial! But, I don’t think redstone was necessary, I did the same thing has you did without it! Plus, redstone just makes it harder!

Maybe your structures are too big? The NULL means „couldn’t load in unloaded chunks“ that’s what I know

Isn’t without the circle have better range? Just ticking area is better for range according to a mythbusting channel a few years ago

When I did it there were gaps in the generation and it was slow and I could just hop out of the rooms, does room size matter, mine was 5x5

Note you can change the name on the name tags just update in the command string also note you can use this random generation for other stuff not your building rooms

I would love some entities and more features to this.

Great tutorial, I've made my own a while back and I used structure blocks too. For the random number generator I was using one made of redstone but I guess we are able to do it with the random scoreboard command now which is much faster

And then obviously Java Edition's Jigsaw Blocks make things even easier. They also allow for more complex rules, as you're basically making a custom generated structure.

I think the problem was in the 4 adjacent commands blocks with that command : "execute at @e[type=armor_stand,tag=the_one] if block ~~-1~-9 grass run summon armor_stand summon_rooms ~~~-9" You need to replace the -9 by 9 in the second command block For the third one you need to move the -9 to here "~-9~-1~" For the fourth one it's the same as the third but you replace the -9 by 9 Sorry if that doesn't help i believe in you
