How To Build A Shed Start to Finish (...and How to TEAR DOWN a Shed!)
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This is, by far, my biggest build to date. It took me 4 months worth of weekends and holidays to get it done. And while it took longer than I probably would have wanted, I enjoyed every single minute of it. It's so hard to put into words the feeling of building something (mostly) yourself. It's a feeling I hope I never take for granted and a joy I hope I continue to experience.
Sketchup Build Plans for this project are available here:
www.patreon.com/VincheroKarpi...
There's also a great website that offers different shed plans for free. Check them out here: shedplans.org/?ref=8
This project would not have been possible without the support of these awesome brands:
Matimco, for the Ecofor lumber and Nuwood side cladding;
Kawara Philippines, for the roofing, eaves and ceiling; and
Ecofoam Philippines, for the spray foam insulation.
A special THANK YOU also to my wife, Ange, for supporting my passions and allowing me to build this in our backyard, and for always willing to be a helping hand; to my brother, Gerry, for helping me install that roof; to Buboy, for helping me pour that foundation and painting that interior; to Dan (of DIY Tatay Dan) and Mario (of MachoWoodworks) for coming over and sharing with me your ideas; and to you, reading this, for dropping by to watch these videos and enjoying the experience with me.
#VKshedbuild2 is done!

You need a shed this big to house the tools you need to build a shed this big.
Great Job V!! I'm building an exact size shed this spring time. This gives me a good base to work with. Love how you maximized the space for your power tools. You should have a separate video for your shed organizers 🙃
Great inspiration for my storage/garden shed combo build this summer.
I like how you work smart and clean.
Nice shed/shop! Having the right tool makes all the difference.
so much work i did a barn style 12x14 for the first time a few years back
Congratulations on a job well done. Nicely organized!
You are amazing. A man of many skills.
grabe. the way you do things parang western carpentry. with spray foam pa yung tool shed. ang ganda!
Wow...this was simply awesome...such a nice looking shed, very well thought out and process of assembling.
Awesome work!!! That turned out very well and you built it nice and strong!
Ang galing! Grabe! Well organized and perfectionist. More power to your channel!
wow,, Amazing craftsmanship and organization...Put an alarm on that Shed with all the tools and equipment inside.....Congrats...
That was worth watching to the end great job great skills
Thats a great shed, love the tool storage.
Wow that is one impressive organized beautiful shed, awesome ❤❤❤
Finally, the whole build. Ganda sir 👍
Amazing video and I learned quite a bit. Gives me the confidence in doing a similar project, thanks for the filming the process.
I really commend you on the QUALITY most of don't get from contractors. Man, you're talented.
Awesome job. Really enjoyed watching you build this masterpiece while drinking a cup of coffee ☕️. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait for your next masterpiece. 🤠👌🛠
Great job. U are intelligent young man.
Wow, amazing build !❤
Awesome job my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful very nice job ...the window could be a modern one too... God bless guys !
Thats an amazing build. Way to go!
Beautiful work!!
Excellent Vid
That is an amazing build!
Nice build. Came out awesome.
Very nice remodel and expansion! I would make one suggestion though. Be sure to get a lock on your doors. I don't know how you can secure a sliding door, but they do on barns. Maybe you can design your own locking latch for the sliding door!?
Great work! thank you for sharing.
Wow awesome job . Very impressive
Wow😮😮 pembuatan ruangkerja super lengkap
Awesome work. Looks amazingf
This is really great! I would like to do the same in my backyard. I need to check the with the city code first though.
Excellent!!!!
wow very impressive...all those nice tools and still hammering and nailing some parts :)
Congrats Sir super galing!
Congrats on a great build! Awesome editing too. That must’ve taken an eternity and it paid off. I couldn’t stop watching 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice!!! I like the way you played it in reverse.
Wow!!! What an impressive video!!! Genius!!!!*****
Amazing job!!
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
Looks great. I’m surprised with everything else so nicely done you didn’t do an epoxy floor or at least some kind of seal and paint.
Love your tools❤
That was amazing, thank you.
Super nice build. Ang galing! Dream ko din magkaroon ng shed. Wala lang akong space. Haha. Keep up the good work boss!
❤❤❤ awesome video! Thanks for sharing
Wow! This guy works fast! 😳
Very cool video thanks for sharing.
Very great job!
Impressive. Having those tools help.
Not sure if it amounts to anything but you got an instant subscriber from me. This backyard shed idea is something I've been wanting to do in my backyard for a long time, but seeing how you did this mostly solo is so impressive! I plan on making this my mission to build something in our backyard by this summer. Any special permits needed?
Well done!
Very nice ! Question: Did your sketchup file include material list ?
great work, man!
damn!!!!...great work.
great work
WOW!!! Beautiful work friend!!❤💯 I want to do exactly this in TX fir an office and add a mini split. Not sure if this is in Cali but wondering what some of the material is from like the outside grey paneling. This must have cost some $$$$ but is incredible what they are charging for a mediocre shed nowadays 🙄 I've learned so much just from some of the many close up cuts and your space saving wall ideas on tools. Would have love to be your neighbor next door😁👍 Defenitely deserves a like and subscribe!!🤠⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dude great job
Great job. That's a lot of hard work! I wonder why there are no outlets in any walls? I see power strips coming out of a wall and from the ceiling so I guess that's the way you do it in your country?
Good job 👏🏾
Where did you buy the outside wall cladding?
Great video!
You're too good 👌
Good job!!!
its a nice build! There is no requiurement for J bolts to hold to concrete foundation where you live?
Vinchero Americano Style Carpenter. astig galing
Damn you’re fast, I need you to come build mine.
Seems elaborate. I would like to move in soon as possible, please...to be with the tools.
that was a great video to watch. well edited, timed right, showed all major parts and straight to the point. not to mention the shed was built better than some of these new home builders build homes nowadays
You are very handy
The electrical work looks good for my house.
Well done. What color is the dark exterior color?
Foundation is key. This foundation will allow water in. It needed to be raised slightly higher.

Wood composite. It's a mixture of wood and plastic.
damn solid man. aloha brah .
Nice 👍🏻
Impressive build. The only thing that makes no sense to me is to do all that work and even do spray foam insulation only to make barn doors? The amount of cold/hot air that will be leaking in there makes all the insulation almost pointless….
I’m trying to build something like this. How much it cost? A ball park, more or less?
I like your videos! May I ask what you use to secure the wooden wall frame to the floor?

Just some tips for this. Tongue & groove (T&G) for sheathing possibly glued (actually, it’s a bldg code req’d I’m sure). If hidden, OSB board is stronger and cheaper. Maybe easier to cut a birdsmouth in rafters rather then notching them. BTW, your door construction was awesome to watch! It looks great!
What was that you used for the soffit?

Awesome build! I purchased your build plans but the zip came blank?!

The file should be a Sketchup file. You need to use Sketchup software to open it. Please email me to sort it out.
Do you have a winter?
Great build, do it right or don't do it at all.❤😊
One of the better shed builds by someone not in the trades. You obviously read framing books. Love that you make notes on material as reminders. That slab a lil thin and also didn’t see dowel pins(?)? It will displace differentialy if you have any freeze thaw. May not be an issue in your climate. But I like the suggestion of having a concrete curb to prevent premature rot at the ground, similar to how garages have concrete perimeter curbs, but that is hard to pour as diy concrete. Treated wood only helps so much. Plywood horizontally as sheathing is better to prohibit racking. Again, more an issue depending on location, climate etc. Also, roof sheathing shd be exterior rated tongue and groove as it’s stronger. Roof shingles work better, last longer on a minimum 4:12 slope. Manfs say a 3:12 slope works, but that is bull. Quality build though. 👍🏽
If only I could do this haha
How long did it take for you to build and do you have blueprints
