My 4 years old son keeps watching this (as well as your pinball and gumball machine) non stop! I built this coin sorter and the pinball nearly a month ago using the pieces I had (with some adjustments and adaptations) and he keeps playing with those every day, customizing them since then! They're definitely his favorite toys, he always wants to show them to everybody! Thank you so much for making these tutorials and please make some more of them! They're absolutely great!

Very good idea! I remember having something like this when I was a kid. I'd never seen one done in LEGO before - pretty creative! And the way you animated/filmed the assembly was cool! Thanks for sharing a great idea and keep up the good work!

How is this useful? It makes life harder. Why would you try to fit coins in a slot when you can literally just place them in the slot?
Loved the views that showed how it worked. Keep up the good work!
Neat! :D Now, how about a funnel with a mechanism to delay the flow of coins, like the real machines? I mean, picking up one by one, kinda defeats the purpose a little since you could place them individually that way, but pouring in a bag of them... well, then you'd have a great useful LEGO device. :D
Wow so simple design doesn’t involve MOTORS
Subscribed. How come this is the only video where you didn't show the parts in the beginning? Would really love to be able to grab all the parts at once from the store/online.
It's amazing! 😍

Thanks for the effort, but I've to state the obvious: as long as you have to insert each coin one by one, you may as well sort by hand. Why is there no tutorial around for an actual practical Lego coin sorter? (I.e. where you can insert a bunch of coins at once.)

You could probably modify this with some sort of conveyer belt or funnel, but this seems to be just the bare bones sorting function.

@@WatchTheWorldBurn63 Not a conveyor belt but a wheel works very well apparently: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hZaLxZWbg8eqnNo.html. That should be possible to be implemented with Lego!?

Too slow!!!!! (bulding is too slow)
Straight up useless unless if you add a funnel to just drop the coins. I’d rather sort coins myself instead of fit coins in a slot and make things harder than it has to be.

This seems to just be the sorting mechanism, adding a funnel or feeding system (like a motorized wheel or conveyer belt probably isn't that hard.
Nice project. Particularly nice instruction technique.
How small these holders are represent just the right amount for me to hold all my money
Well placed, best how to do "Lego" build I've seen. Keep it up! 👍

Impressive. What program do you use for stop motion? I think I prefer how you presented the Lego safe video as you showed the viewers what bricks were required at the start. 👍

I followed his steps and build the same thing in Studio v2. I've uploaded the model to Bricklink. From there, you can use the "Easy Buy" option and it will put all the pieces necessary into your cart. In a few minutes I will add to the description a link to a PDF with the build instructions.
