Nice time lapse! I just drew up a set of drawings for a wooden paddle board I'm going to do. I'll be cutting the ribs out with a jigsaw instead of using a CNC, pretty pumped for it!

You should try one before judging from the appearance :)
There are many similar projects in woodglut's plans.
