It's like community work. Not for a single specific private organisation. You don't do open source with an intent of 'getting something out of it' but just as a gesture of good intentions and will. You don't have to do it if you're only looking to make money. It's fine. Don't think of it as something you HAVE to get into to get a good job. Open source just provides you a platform which helps you in ways beyond money. Please think of the bigger picture.

Kunal sir should I prefer CS at MAIT or lower branch at DTU. I want to become a software developer in future. What would you recommend? Thank you.

Hi , I am not kunal but i thought i can share my view point out of experience . If u want gaurentee that i am not that passionate and i can't work if not surrouned by like minded people than go for Mait cs bcz u will get every one thinking about doing something in cs domain but if u are self driven and ready that i can learn to code even if cs subjects and peer are not with me than go for DTU bcz in pre final and final year big tech companies will come to dtu for internships and placement opportunities.( oncampus is much easier than off campus no matter what others say its truth bcz when companies visit your campus the competetion is between 500-600 students while in off campus its open and sometimes unfair ) If i would have been in your place I definately would have chose DTU and will try my best to find the relevant peer group . Decision in your and best of luck

@@devesh819 but bro will I be able to sit for placements/internships in DTU/NSUT inspite being from a low branch?Like I saw the data and majority of companies allowed COE/IT/SE students.

@@shivankkapur5962 Bro this is my garentee if u will work on your resume like have some decent projects , intern experience then 100%ur resume will get selected for interview . And about branch 7-8 companies ( some fin tech ) are there which don't allow other branches to sit in placement but big tech like manga don't set that criterio . But remember to chose Dtu lower branch if u are sure that u will work hard and will work irrespective of your peer groups otherwise u mights land up like few of my batchmates from lower branches prepare for MBA,Cat,gate and upsc bcz they think they are not getting motivated or peer presure to do . My friend in DTU ,nsut and NIT K ,A told me there are 5 - 10 which don't allow even IT branch to sit in rest companies allow all .

udemy has tons. Why depend on poor Kunal for everything? Such quality courses take time to formulate. He's already working soo hard. Wait . Or look somewhere else -- and there are TONS available..
