Safety Tips
- Always makes sure your tools are in good working order and you have the correct safety equipment.
- Read all instructions carefully, especially if you are using a piece of equipment for the first time.
- Wearing safety goggles, gloves and a dust mask is advisable.

Great project, I went to Wicks to purchase the timber and I had to go elsewhere due to the poor quality of the wood, very dissapointed.

What alternative timber can be used as the P4S timbers are no longer available on the Wickes website?

Elliott Frost Elliot, did you ever get a reply about the sizes which were discontinued ? I only discovered the How to Guide yesterday and ran checks on the Wickes website for prices and found that the 2 P4S items not available. Regards Bob.

Hi Bob, I never did get a reply from wickes. However I have made this bench and table since my comment. I used treated CLS timber instead. It was 2 lengths of 38x89x2400mm and 3 lengths of 38x63x2400mm. I hope this helps! :)

Hi Elliot, thanks for the reply, shame Wickes didn't get back to you but sounds like you sorted the issue out for yourself in the end. I'm looking for a project to build probably next spring now so a bit of research now to establish the best option. Thanks for getting back with details. Regards Bob

Thought you were meant to wear the safety gear
Went to my local Wickes to buy the timber to make one of these and as per usual they didn't any of this in their store.. Absolute joke..
work has never been as easy as with Stodoys instructions.
It's good to see the woodprix has new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
My adventure with the tree began with projects from Woodglut.
This time I'll use woodprix instructions to make it by my hand :)
I am sure you can still buy handbook with all info you need on woodprix. Just google it.
You can make it yourself, just loook and learn from woodprix.

You can use woodprix, it has the best handbooks and ready instructions. You can learn much from them and make it yourself.
Woodglut is a good solution for every woodworker.
Nice video, will give this a go. Not liking so much all the ads for Woodprix, Woodglut, Stodoys etc, who are basically all the same company.
