How to Build a DIY Electric Skateboard *15lb Landyachtz College Campus Commuter*
Ғылым және технология
I use this electric skateboard to get to and from classes every single day at college. To me it is the perfect board for this purpose because it is portable, yet comfortable to ride. Though it is more expensive that just buying a pre-built board with similar specs, DIY was the way that I wanted to go. The board has everything that I was looking for in a campus commuter.

Thanks!
⚡ *Ooo I like this one!* ⚡ Never seen such a flexy deck on an esk8, let alone a smaller one 🤙🏼🤙🏼 Nice wide RKP trucks for stability at speed & simple press fit pulleys 👌🏼 As soon as I saw the deck I knew which one it was, very well known, popular deck with a rocker which I've never seen used on esk8 before ⚡⚡ Looks amazin! Can only imagine how nicely it rides. I would love to see a Pantheon Trip with top-mounted electronics and rear mounted motors.

Thank you! Love this deck so much. I had never seen it used for esk8 either. I was also looking at the pantheon trip for a V2

@@DIYesk8Builders ohhh ya gotta do the trip. I tried to do one years ago but I gave up. I couldn't stop the wheel bite
hey would it be possible to do this with UK links I really wanna do one too but cant find the same parts here
How did you get the curvature of the deck right for the second iteration of the battery enclosure? I am looking into designing and printing a new enclosure for my board as my current one is cracked but cannot seem to get the curvature of the deck right.

I took a picture of the deck from the side and the front and then straitened them and added the to a sketch in fusion. Then I just traced the deck.

Their Advice is good, however Ive cracked 2 enclosures that I 3D printed, then reinforced the next two (I made an extra before I went to college just in case) and haven't had a problem since. I used a $20 bondo fiberglass kit from home depot (also avaliable at walmart and a bunch of other stores)
How'd you get your foc box to connect on vesc tool i can't get mine to connect?

That’s crazy 🤯 what a coincidence!
Or just get a revel kit ? More quiet, better motor tech (dual direct drive motors )And you can have hot swapple batterys :)

With the amount of rocker on that deck I'd be concerned about the battery hitting the ground all the time
i love it but im kinda scared for that deck it looks like its about to scrape on the floor

Missing the most important thing. PRICE. Otherwise a great video 👍

Haha yes the price. Most of these parts were recycled from previous builds so I did not add it up, but I think it comes out to around 800 USD. It could be done for much cheaper though by just changing a few parts
