It was already in the car when he bought it, and I think he's probably gonna take it out. But usually a body lift is done for looks or to clear bigger tyres.

Black Stump 4x4 yeah I have a gq with a 2 inch lift and fit 35s no worries

Body lift has me clearing 35s at full lock with factory bumps, but they do have nengitives. Prematuredeterioration of body mounts and damage to the chassis and floor pan are the main ones.

Leaky Datsun I just extended my bump stops and i don’t scrub at all. And it keeps my centre of gravity down

Don't really understand why you would put all this work into a alloy bar. First rock it taps the thing is going to be wrecked. At least the original bar would protect the front and the radiator.

Just raptor coat the bar. No one will notice a thing
