How To Bs Smith On A Mini Ramp

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video, I teach How To Bs Smith On A Mini Ramp. Backside Smiths have been one of my favorite tricks for many years. Many of my friends have asked me how I do this trick, so I figured id make a very clear and concise video on how to do bs smiths on mini ramps. Once you learn this trick, you should be able to do it just about every try.
When doing backside smith grinds on quarter pipe the most important thing to focus on your is foot positioning, next is how your locking in, and finally your weight distribution.
If you have any questions about this trick or would like help on another trick, leave a comment and id be happy to make a video.

That lock in tip was nice. I been attempting feebles in this bank to slappy ledge and I kept getting stuck.. The last time I did it I was shook cause I must have been in that right position or something cause I grinded the whole ledge just about and slipped backwards toward the end. I remember shifting my weight back and kinda being tippy toed on the board. Scared the crap out of me. Haha def gonna try this and keep at! Thanks for the video!

Back in the 80's when i skated i always wondered how other skaters figured thier tricks out. Was there a manuel? Advice from other skaters? Or was it all trial an error before landing a trick? In my case it was 100% trial and error which often times got frustrating! To say the least. Now im in my 50's an too old to hop on my board an give it a go for fear of "old man syndrome" reprisals but youtube tutorial videos is the shit!

Hmm maybe try to keep your front shoulder “opened” as opposed to pointing it in towards the ramp. If you look at my left shoulder in the thumbnail you might be able to see what I’m referring to. Get it!
