Hello! I have one iphone purchased in India before I came to Canada and I have purchased one here and have been using it. If I take them both back to India, will I have to pay custom duty on the one purchased in Canada? Not looking for a trick but wanted to know what’s the actual law, considering both my phones are for personal use.

Nope…, if you are using both phones 📱 you don’t have to pay anything. I always carry 2 iPhones one for personal use and one for browsing. Just tell them the same.

Nope. Just the unlocked one. Not the one which comes under contract with some phone carrier.

Shank what if a person is bringing a single iPhone from the US to India and activating just like u mentioned in the video if I want him to keep the box in the luggage will they question about a single phone's box and charge custom duty?

They will scan the check in bag and ask you where are the phones? Then you have to come up with something so that they will believe the phones are for personal use.

my uncle gone to usa for 4 weeks to meet his brother ,for the first time he went usa, so if he brings i pone 14 pro max saying that his personal phone with the phone box in luggage , there will be no problem huh???

If we get to an iphone and an ipad together by activating both of them after we buy and anyother accessories like airpods or magic meyboard and all and keep the boxes in the liggage itself then it wont be any kinda mess right?

Shoes is the same as phone, don't bring box and if u have bill bring it in pocket, else u can keep shoes in the bag, they won't care about shoes if it's unboxed

This is a good question. If your credit card supports international transaction then yes, you can do that. There should be some sells tax. Not sure what is follar tax

Nothing is compulsory but chances of getting caught will increase and then you might have to pay the custom duty

While there is substantial difference in the pro model of iPhones the normal one costs almost same in India if you consider in store discounts offered on credit cards in India. Waste of time and opportunity.
