Fantastic video stu.doesnt matter about the soldiers.still looks a great brick work job 😁👍🏻
Stupid question coming - is it possible to make this bed in a little better once complete? as if it was "always" a brick wall?
When KC is not available, you need another bloke to do all of the work, while you're talking to us. Cheers. 😁
How anyone could give this guy a thumbs down I don’t know. Cretinous minds. Top tradesman and great helpful videos. Thanks for your hard work.

You are so right. You find this in all walks of life sadly. You just keep doing what your doing mate...I am a Brit down here in SW France and your tips have really helped me to work stuff out. I am handy but videos like this just give you the right way of looking at a job. I for one and I am sure many others are very appreciative of your quality work and quality videos. All the best to you, you deserve to be a total success.
I always fill the toothed bed joint as I go as it provides good access to get it full. Great job.
@RajSinghKhalsa

Agreed that toothed joint is easier done as you go along, filling the joint when pointing up at the end is time consuming and never the same as mortar in the main work is going off while a fresh load is being pressed in
Nice job stu but those soldiers need to come out. You should make a video on how to lay a brick flat as this is very important when building plum as you no. All the best 👍
Dont forget your line pin holes mate
How did you fix the string line to the bricks?
@01ozey01
5 жыл бұрын
Tap them into the wall by your pins
Why did you warm the bricks up? Cheers enjoy your videos.
Stu how do you never apply mortar to the top of yer bricks when laying in the toothed out section , an just apply later 🤔 cheers
how do you get mortar into the top of the stitched joint, so its filled completely up ?
Привет ! Что за кирпичи ? Что за раствор ? Почему кирпичи чистые после укладки?
Don't they make those bricks anymore Stu, just wondered because they don't really match.
How did you cut out every second brick so neatly? I know to use a large diamond blade grinder or demo saw on the horizontal mortar but how did you cut the vertical mortar so the half brick just pops out? Drill? My experience using a drill just damages the one above and then it cracks.. Your vid just shows the end result. Thanks

Anthony K if you cut the bed joint vertically to the joint you tap it with the hammer it will pop out and you just clean up the joint with a plugging chisel
Nice to see someone taking pride in brickwork especially top and tailing the pointing not something these side lads would know how to do nowadays 😂 tidy job 👍
Bed joints on the right hand side look empty. Are you filling these up?

Should have slicked in the toothed corners to make it stronger! Pack that muck in the toothed spot those corner joints are going to wash out! Otherwise decent vids mate

REMPIRE Construction yea he should use slim finger trowel to get that toothing solid. I fill the holes in the brick before I lay it . Makes it easier 😀
