How to Brew Persian Tea
►Ingredients:
☑ Black Tea: Since it is hard to find Persian tea on the market this is my second favorite tea [Alwazah Tea] amzn.to/2UkAida)
☑ Water
☛ Optional flavoring:
☑Cinnamon stick
☑Cardamom
☑Saffron
☛ Side:
Tea Biscuit: amzn.to/2UPPLB1
► Appliance
☑ Strainer (I use this for years in Florida and never saw any corrosion): amzn.to/39f74jW
☑ Kettle or electric kettle
☑ Flask for tea with vacuum glass liner (I do not like the flask with a stainless-steel liner, because it changes the taste of the tea): amzn.to/3dNydhA

Excellent video, honest and straight to the point. I also appreciate the warning about stainless steel linings as I was initially planning on pouring the tea in my thermos, to drink throughout the day.

I loved your video. I make tea a lot at home and now I will try your method too. I was wondering if you know where in America I can get this tea Saffron Tea, Loose Leaf Organic Herbal Tea 75g by Mehr-e-giah. It was given to me as a gift from my Persian friends but I have finished it and would like your opinion on where to get it or if you know how to make it also. Thank you for your time

Hi Nancy. Thanks for your comment. Well. You don’t have to have Saffron tea. Actually, we don’t have it in Iran either! We add Saffron to the tea separately. You make the tea and add the Saffron. I have put a link from Amazon in the desperation for the tea that has a very similar taste to Persian tea (it’s loose leaves and I like it a lot). I’m pretty sure you can find Saffron from local middle eastern or Indian stores (or Amazon)

It’s up to you. You let the tea stay in the flask for a little bit longer and get a darker tea. I was filming this video and in hurry to finish recording! 😁
