Our country is in serious political trouble and breeding rabbits for meat I believe could be a key way of having a good source of protein during turbulent times. @@Deadwoodrabbitry I’d already sold her as a bred doe. She was too close to kindling to go when they bought her, and then had an entire army when she kindled. I kept a full sister instead, who consistently produces 12-14 per litter and usually weans them all.

Why do you separate male and female? Why they do not stay together in one cage?

This is because they will fight. And you can't control the Breeding. As well as when she has babies they will not get along
