I have to go out of state to hunt elk. I get to go about every 3 or 4 years. When I do, im going for the rack and the meat is just a huge bonus. I mainly meat hunt whitetail because we have so many where I'm from. Just being honest

I'm 36 years old and learning to hunt this year. In the absence of having grown up as a hunter, guys like Remi, Cal, Janis, and Steve have become my mentors and community. This is one of the best videos I've seen that highlights the values, skills, and ethics I want to strive for as a hunter. This type of content and information is more valuable than you can know.

They have a sensitive nose better than what we do, I can only give them credit for that. You can fool their eyes, you can fool their ears but you cannot fool their nose. If he has a secret to share about their nose I think we would like to hear it. Great footage, as the song goes, "thanks for the memories!"

As far as bow hunting videos go, it doesn't get much better than that. Very well commentated, doing it with a trad bow, self-filming and a blood trail! And finish it with a mouth watering meal. Absolutely top tier rated.

I switched to traditional 3 years ago and yes I see alot more cause the mind set is way different. I've harvested a 6by7 with my compound several years ago and got it done .now 8 years later I find myself hunting for the true challenge:) and wild mind will lead you to a free world.i hunt solo now and theres nothing out there more free then me great video

For those of you that have been skilled enough to accomplish this is amazing. To be able to film the entire solo hunt successfully is an art. Remi has done it all and is one of my favorites in the world of hunting. This is very difficult to get the complete package. My hat is off!

If you're not a hunter or haven't had the chance at your shot yet, it's hard to explain all of the emotions that go through your head when you get your kill. First I celebrate, then I'm sad, and then I'm grateful. I always make sure to take a moment and thank the animal for providing the meat I need for my family. It can be almost a spiritual experience.
