2 months ago I bought a play 4 slim knowing that it was in safe mode. I made all the variants to be able to fix it even change the disk but until now when it is turned on it is in safe mode. When reinstalling the system software it does the whole procedure but when it restarts it stays a few seconds on and off

Yeah me too.. having problems about the blinking blue light..

I got to safe mode. But evertime I plug in the controller and press ps button the controller just flashes 3 times and nothing happens. Any thoughts?

When I go to change screen resolution, it restarts and doesn’t give me the option to pick a resolution, it just goes back to the PS4 logo and doesn’t the same thing and stays a black screen?

Hey 👋🏽 I need serious help... my original controller for my PS4 is broken and I got a new one and I can’t sync it to my PlayStation.. I’ve tried safe mode and I’ve tried holding the ps button and the share button at the same time.. nothing is working

Mine turns on after the first beep and the second beep just turns it off, I'm doing this whole it is completely off(I'm using the slim)

@@iStuwie I was able to get it into safe mode once, but only once. What did it for me was when it was turning off and was flashing blue I held the power button until it beeped twice and that did it, hopefully this helps

TheNadeCooker did that once sort your PS4? Is it working now? I was able to get into safe mode all the time, but when my PS4 broke and I actually had to use safe mode. I tried updating the software, and it was stuck on 100% for an hour or so. Being stupid, I decided to turn it off. Ever since, I couldn’t get into safe mode. It just beeps to turn on, and after 15 seconds beeps to turn off.

@@iStuwie I never had to use safe mode so I'm not sure if something like that happened to me but my PlayStations disk drive is broken so it's basically useless either way sense I can't update it therefore I can't sign in (this has happened to all of my PlayStations, all 3 so I don't think I'll be getting a PlayStation unless it's mailed to me lol) but anyways it's not working I was just able to get it into safe mode cuz I can't even update through safe mode

Mine was updating the system. Then it froze. I turn it off and then i turn it back on after an hour or so. And its still frozen on the same screen.

I have a Ps4 slim I hold the power button down and beeps 2 times, and it takes me to the [connect your USB cable then press the ps button]. Then it takes me to the [connect a usb storage device for version 7.02] since I dont have a computer I click on the cancel option, then it turns off and when I turn it back on it takes me back to the same [connect a USB device], and can't access the safe mode options even if I turn it off and on again...any help?

Can I navigate throught the safe Mode using a wired keyboard?

When i connect my controller to my playstation 4 slim at the safe mode screen it dont do anything when i press the ps button and i connected it with a cable . but my controller works just fine when im on the ps4

my on/off button doesnt work any method to enter rest mode in that case

To get it to safe mode in ps4 slim you have you to get your controller and press the middle button the turn it completely off from there , then it try holding the button

I bought a PS4 Slim and had thought the video display had gone bust, but turns out it was the HDMI cable was inadequate. Doing this wasn't necessary, thankfully. However, I was disappointed it didn't have the system version 9.00 or less (came with 10.71). 😕
