I enjoy watching how everyone takes care of their hair individually and it works.

Same!!! Watching other people’s hair videos help me try new products and techniques that I would’ve never thought to try ❤️
Your almost monetized, keep going 🥳 It’s so therapeutic to see fresh ends cut. I know detangling is much better. And I saw in the other video about the Denman D38 brush and I agree that is way better than the brush you are using. That denman brush is more for styling and to clump the curls. Many say after a while that this brush will destroy your ends and the D38 brush is $30 dollars but it’s worth it 💯 Use it vertically while detangling because the bristles are aligned straight that way and then you can turn it horizontal. I swear it’s the best brush I have used. The way the bristles collapse on the cushions when there is resistance so it’s not ripping through the hair is a 👍

Thank you!!! This helps me a lot. Is it the paddle brush? I really want to try the D38 bc I’ve been looking for a better detangling brush. I like the tangle teezer but wanna try something new. I can’t believe I’m almost monetized!! 🥰 you guys are helping me achieve all of this and I can’t thank you guys enough ❤️❤️
girl, I just a $400 revair because Lordy I never want to do this. Much power to anyone who can properly blow dry like this

Yeah it's definitely a lot of work 😅 I'm planning to invest in a revair myself to make this easier lol

That blow dryer looks like it takes a lot of arm strength.
@itsivory__

Lmaoo I can see why you would think that but I promise it takes a normal amount of arm strength 😅😭 this was my first time using a dryer like this so it def looks like it was taking some strength at first lol just needed to get used to it.

@@itsivory__ length retention
I too can relate to you I noticed as my hair grew longer my wash day process took 3 hours to wash and style.So I bought a brush similar to yours and I’m enjoying my straight hair.Please make. Sure you add protein treatment after straightening to ensure the health of your hair.
@itsivory__

Yes!!! The length and type 4 hair be making wash day a whole production 😅 any recommendations for a protein treatment? I’ve never tried one before.
@vernessapascal698
Ай бұрын
Some recommendations are the aphgoee 2 step protein treatment , palmers coconut oil formula with vitamin E moisture boost protein packs you can try these see how it works if not find one that works good for you always go with a protein moisture balance

Your hair is gorgeous! What's moisture train???
@itsivory__

Thank you! 🥰 moisture training is basically training your hair to better absorb moisture and stay moisturized. I hope that helps 😊❤️
6:01 Where is that big ole hair scarf from?! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
@itsivory__

😂 I got it from a beauty supply store yearrrssss ago. If you search “large silk scarf” on Amazon they have a ton of them lol
Drying out the hair like that isn’t healthy for the hair. It becomes weak and brittle.

Definitely have to be careful when it comes to using heat on natural hair. But with proper technique, heat protectants and watching the amount of heat you use I believe the hair will be just fine ❤️🥰
Heat train lol
@itsivory__
Ай бұрын
lol I ended up going the moisture training route but this winter things might be different 😅
Be careful with the heat.Heat styling has destroyed most people's hair.i have never blow dried,hot combed, flat ironed and my hair is doing great.
@itsivory__
Ай бұрын
Heat styling can definitely cause damage if not done properly (I know from experience) I just enjoy the ease of waking up with my hair already styled and it lasts so much longer for me lol 😅
Do not use too much heat.
@itsivory__
Ай бұрын
lol I agree, I don’t think I’ll be doing too many heat styles for a while.
As another natural who wants to wear her hair blown out a lot I would not recommend this. It might cause you to get more trims and risky with getting heat damage. I’d keep moisturizing the hair and protecting it. All it takes is ONE bad blowout/ flat iron to ruin all the long hard years of growing your hair.

I'm soooo torn 😩😭 lol Definitely don't want to damage my hair but seriously love the ease of having my hair blown out. Maybe I'll find ways to stretch my hair without heat 🤔
