I have had schizophrenia for 42 years. When I was 19 they tried psychological therapy, it was a complete waste of time, in fact it made me much worse. Everyone in the group was focusing on me, and I got so bad that they had to transfer me to a locked ward and I was there for a long time. All these years later I live alone and have virtually no contact with other human beings because I have always been unable to make friends and I have no family members around to see or speak to. It is a miserable existence. All I do is talk to myself and the walls, and my neighbours think I’m odd. I don’t have anyone to talk to except from the occasional appointment with my GP and my psychiatrist. That means I have months without talking to anyone as these appointments are few and far between. It’s alright for you to say that it helps to have support from other people, but I don’t have any of that.

For God's sake, it is not an illness. It is a real life problem where the person goes through trauma all his or her life one after the other like a downward spiral that the only help that they get is from the God. Most often they suffer till death not being understood and not getting the help they pray for. May the God almighty hear us speak. 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for this video I was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a young man I still take medicine and it was a battle but my best support network has been the church, since becoming a Christian.

Sounds like God has a plan for you in your church and area. So many people like my 42 year old son with a diagnosis of schizophrenia have such a hard time going places and being around people. My son complain of voices in his head are more active around people and in church especially with music. My son use to attend church till he got sick at 16 . Please send a prayer to my son phil. Again thank you, diet , talking , getting out , yes . All of it matters along with meds . This is tuff . My 35 yr old has it and my 19 yr old. I quietly cry in between the chaos then keep pushing Fwd for answers and a new direction that’s healthy for everyone.

Very informative and maybe a good material for viewers to look for. Im personally schtzophrenic and i find it helpfull. Good luck for those in seek of remedy while having this diagnosis.

@@sidhugaming66 Eating fish, Practicing yoga, open chakras, eating healthy, practice emotional intelligence, art and playing piano seem to be some things that have shown to help patients with this disorder. They need tender love and care.

Surely giving sedatives make people much worse in the long run. People with schizophrenic episodes are like in a dream state. It surely must mean that they are simultaneously conscious and in an REM sleep state. Of course we are not observers of our dreams but participants in them, hence why the sufferer thinks their delusions are real. Would it not follow that sedation pushes them further into these hallucinations long run. Im no psychiatrist nor do i have the condition, but is it not obvious 🤷

We all have fear and trauma. That could be diagnosed as schizophrenia. Drug and alcohol make it worse. It’s a spiritual solution.

If you want to know how to best treat schizophrenia, then ask someone who has fully recovered.

@@lttrhd Then I must not exist. I was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder back in 1990/1991...spent 4 weeks in a psychiatric hospital and underwent six ECT treatments. I haven't been on any meds for it since 1992/1993. It is not a chemical imbalance of the brain. The solution is to treat the condition as a spiritual battle...a fight for one's soul....the last time I heard any voices was decades ago.

That's why they make medicine for schizophrenia. Now. How can it be obsession or what's your referring to being possessed? So schizophrenia is genetically spread through your DNA. It is something that you inherit from your father or mother. It can lay dormant and never manifest itself. Or it can be triggered from marijuana, alcohol, LSD or amphetamines. Be very careful and mindful that you do to the least of me you do to me. God does not punish someone. He's incapable. That is reserved for judgment on that day in the white throne room. Till then and our Lord's prayer it says keep me from temptation and from the evil one. Temptation through drugs can be the catalyst for schizophrenia. Remember there's not always a cure for this. Medicine may be effective and you dealing with the condition. But the problem with your post is is that someone dealing with schizophrenia can read this. And think they've sent against God and they're being punished. And lose hope. Raise your hand if you're overcoming death shut up if you're not. You will either give life or give death from your tongue. For me it's life. So if you are suffering from schizophrenia, it is a mental condition and heritage through your DNA. Please seek guidance like I did and hope is the one thing you can never lose. There's always hope.

Typical brainwashed individuals, thinking the placebo helps by all kinds of things and illnesses, it may be true at some cases to rely on spirituality and the supportive communities behind it. But schizophrenia has a weird pattern with positive symptomatic delusions to go overboard with religion beliefs (islam includeded). In my case it got better when i went out the religion i practice, in that case the Islam and didnt fuel my delusions further and furtherand got more into the objective truth and my own reality closer. It doesn't mean i dont believe in god, i do in fact but Allah or god is not the center of my life no more instead my supportive group of family and friends that guide me more than god could ever., I am very grateful. Unfortunately God gave me that extremist islamic father that judged me for being just a woman and abused me a long time for just existing and me just wishing to have the same treatment as my brothers but no, he just hated me and that religion caused this hate towards his daughter. I don't need god to help me through this, i need my mother and my friends. Stop trying to convert people into religions with these text, u are not better than the jehovah witnesses that go to door to door. ❤ We need to believe more into us humans than the ones above us, they would never look our way anyway, Stay strong.

no read the bible jesus healed every mental illness he took demaons out of people he cured the blind so yes our God has become man and all we have to do is believe and be baptized and keep his commandments
