I wanted to improve my sleep schedule first, but for that I need to organize my time. That means doing homework right after it's assigned this way I can actually achive my first goal. Wish me luck, I'm hoping to improve the thing we naturaly do the most, and that is sleep :)

Hey Amy! This week (Week of 10/15/23) I'll focus on the self care portion that you described: - I'll get 8 hours of sleep every night I'll come back next week and add another goal! Week 2 - so the 8 hour sleep schedule isn't working out amazingly, I will try harder this week.

Went from 10-20% Fs in all my classes 10th grade year 1st qtr to getting a 4.0 unweighted in my first qtr of 11th grade, for grades the best advice I can give is that it's never about how "smart" you think you are but it's about the hard work you put into school and yourself! Start small and keep trying your best don't tell yourself that you can't do something. You got this!

It makes me doubt about my approach and I start to think if I wouldn't be able to achieve my academic goals. But thanks to you, now I am relieved that it's possible to have a balanced life as a student. It inspired me even nore. Thank you so much❤ Please keep up the good work.

Honestly, students in my class or around me think that I study all day and all night, but in reality I just go through stuff and actually learn during class or once when we start a chapter, the rest of it is just one hour of revision a day before the test or a few hours before the test. What they don't realise is that they have to understand things and trick themselves into thinking that they find it most interesting, that's the key to focused learning and then just review it. My favourite advice which I follow and would recommend other people to do as well is to actually take interest in other people which makes them like you, many people when they talk to me, say that they like talking to me coz I don't interrupt and actually take interest in them. Great video and great advices from you Amy, it's really life changing

Hi Amy! I recognize that I really have a hard time with saying "No" and putting myself before others, so for this week I'm going to try reading the book 'How to Win Friends and Influence People' little by little, while implementing the advice I receive in my daily life. I've noticed that lately when a friend asks for help or to go out somewhere I immediately focus all my attention on them, dropping all my other priorities. I hope to break that habit and learn to broaden my conversations past just those friends I interact with on a daily basis.

Thanks Amy! You're so inspiring, really. People around me tell me they never worked as hard as I do in high school, and it feels like I have to work twice as hard as everyone else to get the same results. But I find your videos super helpful and motivating, especially when I'm a bit down on myself. One of my biggest problems at the moment is burnout, do you have any tips on how to avoid that?

  • @wamyy5

Hi Annie! Aw, thank you for your kind words :) Sometimes we have to find our flow and what areas we can do more in with less effort. It's different for different people, and that's why I focused on math and tennis more! They suited me more. I made a few shorts on how to avoid burnout! But noted, I'll turn these 3 shorts into a long-form video soon :) kzread.info/dash/bejne/aKytssZ6pZW-mKg.htmlsi=Ng38cKWBDtYVevck kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6p4ybZylrinnLA.htmlsi=52exKd6yjnRPjyMy kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6eFrLexpLvglqg.htmlsi=MhyDq8gBSP_iJsW2

My approach is to listen to high energy music to pump myself up or do some kind of light physical activity to get me more energized. Sometimes I take a nap if I really need it. Hi Amy, thanks for your videos; they always give me lots of inspiration and motivation. Relating to your "find your thing" tip: I wanted to tell you that, while slightly procrastinating for my quite important midterm exam in 5 days, I decided to play some Pokemon Showdown (an online competitive Pokemon battle simulator, with elo and a ranked ladder like chess, etc.), and I went 17W-1L (insane - my w/r is typically ~67%) and hit rank #1 (with my new peak elo, too) in the format I play (Random Battle (Blitz), out of ~5k+ players (and like ~50k+ who play the standard non-Blitz version)). After this achievement, I'm even more motivated and confident about preparing for and succeeding on my upcoming midterm :)

Hi Shelby, thanks for watching! I haven't been homeschooled before but I have a general idea. What questions do you have specifically? What are the biggest differences where my current tips don't apply to homeschoolers? On tip I can think of now is to try and separate your school space from your home/living space. Thanks!

True i exercise a lot and yet there is no difference to my BOD 😂. Diet is key for me rn. So i will clean up my diet starting today for entire next year and hopefully for my life. Emotional intelligence i gotta get skill once in my life and practice it unconciously naturally for rest of my life. For deep work i gotta set system. See what bothers me. Psychologically physically boderline triggers. Idk. And solve them and make my life simpler and easier and happier One hobby? Can it be phone time? I mean i m not good at art. Or any skill? Nor i have material or permission or time. I can just listen to music or do exercising or watch youtube or some episode. Idk. Need help in this hobby part.
