at 21:50 instead of going left, go to the right, jump down and up some stairs. Inside you will find the talisman which increases the speed at which you cast sorceries. Just do a little bit of parkour :3

@@P4wnyhof What is in your left hand? A knife? Is that what you recommend? I've been playing a day, with meteorite staff and the starter shield. I don't get it, does the shield provide any passive defence? Or do you actively have to use it do benefit? .... I never use it lol. I see different recommendations, staff left hand/sword right etc. But then I have to switch to two hand staff when on torrent and it's not good for muscle memory. I'm old haha.

@@astrix_mvp you actively have to hold the L1 button to block an attack with the shield, and tap L2 to use the shields secondary ability

A lot of guides show half of this stuff and you really put into perspective early game build into mid game getting stronger. Thanks ! I’m gonna work on raya academy next! Also the stats were really helpful to learn! I’m currently about halfway to what you said and just beat stormveil and did some exploring in the underground river cities.

Yes, this is a mage build. Health has never been something a Wizard had.

I was a tank since I started elden ring. Just realised that being a mage isn't that much easier BUT it is wayyy more fun. And that's what counts.

Mage is not inherently more easy - It can help with trash mobs - It can help with some bosses - All in all we are here to have fun thats what counts :D!

My first wand after the base wand was Demi-Human Queen's Staff. Then I got the meteor staff. I have both staffs on me (one right, one left) because the the upgraded staff does well underground and in tight places

With my first wretch character I have 18 hours and with my new mage character I've almost accomplished as much in 3 hours 🙃

Hey P4ny great vid. Just wondering if you are planning on pumping the Carian staff? From what I understand it's overall better for clearing levels late game than lusat's because it does less DMG but has a lower fp cost. I'm trying to figure out if I want to pump Lusat's or Carian myself since I am at int and I haven't invested into either yet.

You do have enough stones to pump both staffs and try :D I played Lusat all the way!

It's hard to watch when all you hear is astro-logger lol

At higher level, when on horse back always equip your meteor staff in your off hand and your main staff in your main hand... they stack. Makes for about 200 extra damage with Int at 80 Oh and that hat you're wearing lowers your HP and your Stamina by 9% by the way. Always good to know.

Astro logger, I'm using that. Thanks for the tips and tricks. Smart guide for A mage.👍

I'm currently doing my first mage run, and I opted for Moon Veil Katana and Carian Regal Scepter, with Meteorite Staff in off-hand. My summon of choice so far has been Oleg, and he's just tanking the bosses like crazy. I'll probably change to either Mimic or Dung Eater later. But Oleg is a solid choice as a tank that draws aggro.
