Welcome! That's freaking awesome.. I met an older gentleman in Destiny 2 once as well. Pretty sassy older man but.. anyway: I recommend Bloodborne if you ever get tired of this one. It's an amazing game, albeit quite different. A piece of advice or knowledge if you ever get there: in Bloodborne, the gun in your left is for timed parries, not damage per se. So while it seems useless it isn't. It'll make many encounters less torturous.. especially the brick trolls.

Don't use the carian knight sword or the lazulite sword! Any other regular sword that allows to change the scaling and put magic scaling on it is better. You cant change the scaling on both those swords and at maxed they both dont go over D for magic scaling. One of the worst options for a magic build

Finally someone that can go from A to B while getting stuff in between. Its hard to follow some videos when they are flying literally flying to get there. This video is intended for me (I get lost so many times even with the map) . This is easy to follow, PLEASE keep it this way I really enjoy it. Just so you know I am not the typical gamer LOL. Yes I'm a grandma gamer but been playing since before my sons were born (eldest son is 30 already :)) and my speed and eyesight is not the same as before. Elden Ring is tough but at the same time is easy, I was for a while debating with my sons if I should play it or not. The fact is that I really like this game. Excellent guide for getting to Caria Manor! One person just said to do it, and another gave the most basic route without explaining anything. This was leagues better, I'll be checking your channel for more info on building my mage.

By far the best walkthrough/guide I've seen so far. Most people don't show step by step so this is very helpful

I echo everyone's sentiments when I say all tutorials/walk-throughs would benefit from this level of detail. Please keep this format! :)

These guides are literally for new players, but surely you knew that. What did you get from crying about the videos would be too long for your short attention span? He kept saying to use the time stamps, that would have kept the video short enough for you. I'm even more curious about what you got from your attempted insults. The one like from the other idiot? It’s worth noting that if you can also take down the troll which really isn’t difficult as long as you stay back, he drops the Troll Knight Sword which has some pretty impressive stats. @@thomasroman7011 Check out Demons Souls remake dude. First Souls game I completed and it's a damn good experience. Levels are kind of linear so no open world, but you have 5 different worlds with several levels inside of them. The graphics, areas, architecture and atmosphere are all absolutely incredible. You can be a mage by picking the Royalty class and it gets really fun once you can get hold of more spells. Hope you try it, it was my best gaming experience in ages!

Which I doubt it ever will, just look at how they responded to questions on it or rather how they refused to respond. The Kris dagger is good for later game if you enjoy this moveset. Some upgrades from the Lazuli Glintstone Sword are that the pebble is harder hitting and in the dagger is chargeable, it scales higher in dexterity and intelligence, which is a very common mage combo, and as a cherry on top, it is less than half the weight, and has a slightly higher critcial attack.

whats your discovery? Mines only 112 and I went and got a silver foot or whatever and boosted it and farmed for awhile, Ive gone from lvl 27 to 33 by just farm these three guys...no sword yet prob a few hours in now.

The R2 is pretty useful if you want to trade blows with enemies. You still take a fair bit of damage but it can occasionally save you in fights.

I love your guides and slow methodical pace, I am just starting this game finally and your guides are invaluable. 2% drop rate at 100 discovery does not bode well for getting this, but will be a good place to level early so thank you very much.

Great video, thank you!! A few little things that you ran past. If you were helping ppl build better spell-swords. At the lake-facing cliffs, just down the hill in the church is a sacred tear, and the mage spell shop somethings to note to people. Since we would be running literally right past it. In the great room with hand spiders "that dont talk about" lol there are spells littered around in there. Also in the same room is the *Sword of night and flame* you get that sword a lot more accessible than the Lazuli Glintstone. after you've gone up stair to the next site of grace from the hands ,And to the blue phantoms.Look for a roof to jump down on to that has a hole in the top(at the rafters after the site of grace, head straight, then left, then right,and when you get to the next tower jump off the immdiate corner to the left on to a roof then down to a roof with a hole ) this lead to a simple room with a chest no craziness just a OP sword

I’ve spent 18 hours and 30 mins in that beginning area, defeated Margit but stayed around the starting area and a little south of it… you just opened up this game so much for me lol. Thanks!

The first time, they dropped a different sword that I couldn't use (it was one of the super heavy, tank swords and I'm a pure mage build). Do you know if the most recent patch fixed this because I went back and kill the wizards 4 times and only received runes after the first initial kill?

@@PepeLePewPew Hey Dave, my biggest tip is just to remember that you can rest at the sites of grace to reset enemies, so don't be afraid to just farm up runes from easier enemies, then go rest and reset them and do it again to get yourself leveled up a bit. I was having a ton of trouble with even the beginner areas but I find the more I challenge myself (aka the more I die lol) the better I am slowly becoming.

I never comment on these walkthroughs but I have to say thanks so much for the detailed explanation. Finally got this done today.

Thanks! I lucked out and got the sword from the first sorcerer who I attacked. I’m new to Souls games and your videos have been priceless.

Great walkthrough ESO and everything I needed to know to find the location and then grab the sword without too much drama on the way. Keep up the great content and now subscribed. Next task is going to find a better staff than the meteorite staff I have already found.....a staff that can be upgraded 😏 Cheers from Melbourne, Australia 😁😎🍺

One thing to keep in mind is that fast travelling cancels out the Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot's effect whereas just stopping at a Grace doesn't, so Raya Lucaria is better if you're using those. Also if you can kill them in one shot with a backstrab, Raya Lucaria would be way more consistent since that sorcerer is always walking past the doorway with his back to you on spawn

Can confirm. I spent hours trying to get the sword to drop at Manor. I gave up on it and went with Crystal Sword for a while. I was playing through Raya Lucaria and the sorceror dropped it the first time I killed him.

This may explain my problem. Hours at the Manor, and I have yet to get a drop.

This is exactly what I look for in a walkthrough. The humor is great. And theres no bs. Im hard to please and I cant find much to criticize.

Awesome video! I really like how in-depth it is. I got the sword after my 50th attempt. The RNG gods were not with me today.

You should do a video on the moonveil katana :) it’s awesome!! Also great for mages, but the boss is pretty hard to defeat.
