What a great interview!!! This man is awesome.I admire him a lot. I agree with him on the importance of listening engaging stuff when learning a new language. I also believe that it is not necessary to live in an English-speaking country to speak English fluently. Just be prepared to practice a lot of speaking, find a conversation partner whos chill or have convos with yourself (don't worry if u may look kinda crazy 😂) Finally, I've spent so many years studying grammar and pronunciation the traditional way just to end up realizing that the best way to learn is by having fun!!😂 Teachers like u make the journey more enjoyable for sure so thanks! I've found your yt channel recently and I'm loving the content so far❤😊 I'm an aspiring teacher of English from Argentina. Saludos

I must say, thank you from the very bottom of my heart for making this video. I understand English very well and also write decently, even though I can use the wrong word occasionally, but whenever I speak English and get distracted, I lose all the knowledge I've acquired throughout the years and start stuttering. One time, I repeated the same sentence five times without noticing because I got distracted 💀

Native bilingual here. He’s absolutely correct about the Swedes and Germans not really nailing English but rather bringing in their own style into the language. That’s fine and adds to the authenticity so don’t beat yourself up about it. People sort of expect you to speak like that anyhow without being condescending.

It is rare for me to learn very practical tips about learning a language. this interview is, however, an exception!!! In my experience, second guessing myself during conversation really affects my fluency. When I have a positive self-talk about my fluency, I tend to perform better and feel satisfied with my overall English proficiency. My goal now is to get past that by enjoying the process of learning the language.

Multilingual person here, and yes, polyglots will always dream in his first or main native language. Thus, it depends who is going to show up in your dream, you may switch to another language. In my case I was working in Switzerland having British boss so if he was appearing in one of my dreams, or nightmares, I was switching to English as that was the only language he could speak as he was the typical Englishman😉 Same case with my ex-girlfriend when we were living in Asia because she is American, that means ….monolingual, or my French cousins who are monolingual in “Parigot“ French!

Are there any websites where I can practice grammar and vocabulary and much more? At school, teachers taught me English poorly by memorizing unnecessary words that I had already forgotten. Of course, I don't understand everything as well as others :/ Since last Monday I've been learning for myself, it's hard because I don't know exactly what to do first. Apart from that, your videos are nice, grettings!

@@InstantEnglishUK I am from India 🇮🇳 .. a country where the British "ruled" for over 200 years 😅 and now as a result of that post colonial hangover, our schools teach us English alphabets first, before we learn our own language 🥲 anyway big fan of your videos. Get to learn a lot. Appreciate man!
