Hussein Rizk nothing about the original comment is ignorant. Privilege comes in so many forms & your comment CLEARLY comes from a person with privilege. Why do people stereotype Blacks and say we will all be thugs, rappers, and ball players? Because that’s all they bother to see. When that’s all that’s seen, that’s all that’s believed to be attainable. It doesn’t go any deeper than that.

Has nothing to do with race but has everything to do with culture. Coming from a immigrant family whose parents worked as grocery baggers and dishwashers at minimum wage my culture raised to be better here in America where opportunities rarely exist in 3rd world countries. Now, I work as an RNFA (surgical nurse) easily making a comfortable income. As a adult now, i know factors that contribute to lower socioeconomic status, it's a lack of emphasis on education, single motherhood, and low accountability. Those are the top 3 factors. It has nothing to do with race.

The Usual Suspects analogy was terrific. I've found in all of the institutions I've worked in here in Canada, there is a tremendous misunderstanding of Anaesthesia until something goes wrong, all options have been exhausted until Anaesthesia is called in and miraculously the patient pulls through. Before anyone has bothered to ask what happened, we're walking down the hall...... a slight pronounced limp is gradually corrected and we're gone

Im only 13 yrs old, but i was born to have a very bright future from always being the top of my class, very social, well-rounded, etc, i have been looking into anesthesiology. When i was young i developed a tumor in my ankle and had to have it surgically removed at about 10 yo old at Texas Children Hospital. I remember the beautiful ladies rolling me into the operating room and talking to me and laughing with me and i loved it! Then they put the mask on me and i remember them asking me a question but in one breath of those drugs i was OUT😂. Then i remember waking up in the huge room where all the kids were at after surgery and i remember my mom telling me “you have to wake up baby if you want to come home” “wake up baby, wake up” and i was fighting so hard to stay awake but chile i was soooo sleepy😂 so i ended up having to stay the night under observation with my mom and i could hardly sleep i was up moving around, watching T.V., going to the restroom etc. Then i finally got some sleep and the nurse told me I was given a strong dosage of “sleepy gas”😂, and from there i was invested in the study. Watching this video is really inspiring, if people that look like me can do it, i can too, thank you for this❤️!!
