How To Become a Voice Actor (Without any experience!)
In this video I give 4 easy steps to getting started in the world of voice over.
I'm a completely self-made voice actor, and I started from literal ground zero. I didn't know how to hookup a mic, what software I could use to record on, or where to find work.
These steps are the exact formula that I ended up creating as I went along and it'll save you a lot of exhausting brainpower and days of feeling lost!

I'm theatrically trained and have a small repertoire of accents and voices, but I understand and respect the demands and competitive nature of the industry. Experience or not, it's constant rejection and hustle, so I also agree that you have to be prepared and love what you do. That's always comforting :) I love your passion and authenticity. Hi Natasha I just love your video! You give such great information for someone who wants to get started in this business. I used to sing for the New York City opera company when I was in my teens. I am now retired however I have always thought about doing voiceover work and I used to know someone growing up in New York that did this type of work and Loved it. I am a soprano and often when I speak with people on the phone they think that I’m a teenager because of my high pitched voice. I also can do a lot of children’s and cartoon character voices such as Elmo. Most people say I have a decent singing voice. So I am going to take your advice and give this a try thank you so much! Sincerely,SO

Hi, I would like to know what made you choose this mic? it's not really intended for voice over. The scarlet solo or 2i2 are good but a Steinberg c12 will do the same job for half the price. The great scarlet stuff starts with the 4i4 (I read benchmark about it). Careful with the XLR cable. I disagree with her. Don't go for a cheap one, it might create noire or distortion. Go straight away to a magami gold and keep it forever 😀
Thank for this video!
