How to become a Registered Nurse in Australia from overseas | OBA versus Nursing Conversion Program

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video I will be outlining the step by step process on how to become a Registered Nurse in Australia if you are an overseas registered nurse. There are 2 main pathways you can undertake: Outcomes-based assessment versus Nursing Conversion Program. Both of these make you an Au RN. I will also tell you a bit about my nursing journey experience and why I chose to study nursing in Australia as an international student over the OBA. You do work just like a full registered nurse in any country. Medication administration, assessment, monitoring and evaluation. Liasing with the healthcare team. Those that work under your supervision are enrolled nurses(ENs study 2 yrs of nursing, RNs study a full 3 or 4 yrs of nursing) , assistants in nursing or care staff.

Hi Miss Jessa :) I recently saw your video about you quitting your nursing job. I couldn't comment in that video so I opted to watch your other videos and it got me here. Thank you for making that video Miss Jessa. I have come to realize that it might be good in people's ears that you are an AuRN but most of them don't really know the struggle of becoming one. Especially when you came from a different country. I am an aspiring nurse too, and a Filipino. After watching your video I have realized that it's not gonna be an easy road. Despite this, I am still passionate in becoming one :) I am an upcoming freshman in college Miss Jessa. Is it better Miss Jessa if I go to Australia now and study BN? or is it more advantageous if I study here in the Philippines first and be a PRN then go to Australia, study BN for 2 years then be a AuRN?

I think Curtin and ECU offers the conversion program in Perth. Deakins in Melbourne. But you have to confirm with the schools as they may be ceased already
