i am from pakistan we sell 1 acr bajra for 80k to 90k which is 30k indian and investemnt is 3k and sell 1 acr wheat for 220k which is 70k indian with a cost of 7k and honey price in pakistan 400inr se sell 1 acr of rice 300k which is 90k inr and cost is 20k net profit from one acr is almost 170k inr if we grow conventional vegetables profit wil be 200k inr per acr and if we do green house farming in winters for green chili, cucumber and tomato (which is quit common in punjab ) profit wil be 1 million inr per acer in punjab average farmer has 3 to 4 acrs of land

This is purely based on commercial or corporate because in a country a poor farmers will be having maximum of 5-6 acres or 10 max. Imagine buying a crop for 10 acres and maintenance cost, how comes poor farmers can afford it
