Thank you for this quick and thorough breakdown. I come from a Lean Six Sigma background, but that methodology is no longer as popular, and the organization I last worked with was all about Agile/Scrum. I have some Scrum experience via hands-on work with developers and have done stories and sat in weekly sprints, but I think being certified will boost my resume.

Hi thanks for this video My question is that I am from a finance background with 12 years exp Can I do scrum now ? Further - what are the challenges u face the 1st time u implement scrum ? M apprehensive as I feel it’s only a 2 day course - application of this knowledge needs lots of experience and time right ? I also heard this is a very high stressful job (but well paying in some countries nonetheless ) would love to hear from you

Yes You can, work more effectively in cross-functional teams, deliver value incrementally and respond to changing requirements but it is suggested that You should look forward for CPA its give you much broad opportunity in your area.

It is still trendy as of 2024.I saw few job profiles where csm or pmp was mandatory for project manager/scrum master/program manager roles

You can go to "More Details" before registering for the course where they usually have a brief intro of the instructor(often times a KZread Video). Honestly doesn't matter who you choose, as long as they are able to deliver their thoughts coherently and you can understand them well. These instructors have a set course outline that they usually follow for such certification trainings.

Yes,this certificate is definitely worth it.Some organizations still expect this as mandatory for scrum master role.So always nice to have this

No matter what country you get your CSM certification from, it will be recognized and accepted everywhere as long as it is accredited by Scrum Alliance, which is one of the largest membership and certification organizations in the Agile community and is behind this certification.

Totally, google project management is a diploma which gives you an overall understanding on what Project Management is and also gives you the tools and techniques to be a successful Project Manager, whereas CSM is a specialized certification which act as a credential if you want to go into Agile Project Management.
