I will always believe and stand by the fact that just the beginning was enough to get that place closed immediately, but instead Miles goes further and gets himself killed, completely making his hours long journey a damn joke since the camera never gets picked up again.

Actually that is incorrect, the dlc whistleblower reveals that both his camera gets picked up by the whistleblower, and miles actually survived. Albeit only because of the wall rider. Though the comics connecting between outlast 1 and 2 implies although the whistleblower outs the secrets the murkov corporation eventually catches back up to miles.

The beginning was more than enough to incriminate Marcoff. But I guess they needed a reason for a full big game, so Miles had to go on anyways. He doesn't die though, he does survive and exposes Marcoff as revealed during the DLC. They should have continued the main story in Outlast 2 instead of going for a completely different stand alone story from the main one.

The thing is though if they do make one they need to do it identical to this while adding things that don’t change the story much most movies adapted from video games never end up good Resident evil being a big example of this

How to beat without being really smart dumber people gore themselves and you need a strong will 2 live otherwise your dead… it’s why 90% of the staff is dead other half are nearing death only thing I concluded a person with brain damage had biotics implanted into his head for motor skills rendering him/ her immuned so you had to be. Cyborg just to live through the first part of the markers signal

Whistleblower is more interesting than Outlast 2 in my opinion.

The sight of the blood and trucks would have me turning around and leaving honestly. It's clear something bad went down from that.

I will never forget the jolt of tension and pain when CW hit me with the "LITTLE PIG" jumpscare.

That reporter literally ignored not just a parade of flags but straight up ignored an entire Olympic ski team of Red flags

Turning the power back on was the most stressful part of this whole game!!!

Unlike the other three outlast protagonists who didn’t have a choice in the matter so was unarmed and vary unequipped as a result Miles knew and had a choice to bring a weapon if he was so willing to enter inside of the asylum
