Listen, i seen myself in a lot of these situations you explain here, not knowing what to do, and just play the hand and hope i didt the right thing and hope for the best. When i see this, i know why my roll is not growing. I even get angry at other people when i should be angry at myself for my mistakes. You are really good. Thank you.

10:55 I was in an almost identical situation in my game yesterday. I was UTG+2 with A5s, raised to $15 and got 3 callers. Flop came Axx with a fairly disconnected board. In the past, I probably would have bet into my opponents, but thanks to videos like these, I made the right play to check. Guy to my right bet $25, the person to his right called. I ended up folding my top pair. Turns out both people to my right had aces, and both outkicked me. Saved myself a lot of money by check-folding there.

This is so valuable. I used to move to upper stacks if I had the bad day at lower stacks to recover what I lost quickly. Somedays it works perfectly, but when it's not, I screwed up pretty badly. Thanks for this session.

Lost my first $20 in poker, kinda planned for it, needed some experience and feel like Im learning a lot from trying different game types.. Just been studying for a few more days, and Observing other games, $1/$2 seem interesting, I took notes on every player in the game for over an hour, and color-coded them based on my perception.. Interesting games, some easily observably weak players betting ALL in on nothing. I saw a couple really weak losers win big once or twice, and almost make their money back, but boy it was lucky.. Getting Three of a kind on the River card lol constantly going all in with nothing against pocket pair players who arent dumb Im thinking of trying more Spin N Go's but the $1/2 poker seems perfect for new, tight players if you're betting well and taking notes on players, challenging the weakest players. Definitely sit and watch players for 10-15 mins before sitting down.

Your passion shines through. Love the energy. I can feel the care vs other sites where it just seems like they have a "look at me" condescending attitude. Ive been dabbling in poker for quite a while but really taking the time now to hone my game. My intuition and lack of formally analyzing my play has got me a lot further than it probably should but i know when im stuck. For whatever reason studying my game has been difficult for me to start. Its like i want to think of myself as a good poker player and dont want criticism haha but truth is i need a spankin haha so thanks!

If you want to know where you're at, at any time, check raise and if you can't call a raise on the river, don't bet..... This is extremely important, especially online, try not to go all in before the Flop, let the flop come and then go from there, because if people have seen the flop, they are then, 80% more likely to fold their hand.... Last but not least and especially in tournaments, try to never go all in before the Flop, always try to find out the most information, for the least amount as possible..

So if you 3 bet preflop you should lead and C bet on flop as long as your 1v1 or 2v1? but when it multiway or just limp into the flop you should be checking way more often? I usually C bet the flop a lot and lead a lot on the flop to try and bluff people out of it but that may be a leak at the moment.

at 10:00 why do you choose to do small C bets and not half pot and 3/4 pots bets as recommended? I usually do 1/2 or 3/4 c bets because it says to do that online but a lot of the time they either fold or call with a really good hand with 1/2 pot C bets. That was beyond nitty. Even if you assume he's only jamming with 2 pair or better, JT is more likely than JJ or TT. Also, he's very likely to play like this with AJ or any overpair trying to protect against the draws. You have his range completely crushed, this is a snap call. I have folded bottom set to crazy action on flops with no reasonable 2 pair combos before (eg 33 on T43), but as soon as there's even one 2 pair combo, as you beat that you should literally never fold your set.

Jonathan, I object presenting 3-bet charts without including assumed 2-bet chart. As you surely know, in low stakes poker there is huge variance in 2-beting styles, especially on the button, from super tight to super loose. I assume your charts assume facing an average 2-bet style, but it would be helpful to know what its is that average 2-bet chart. Without that I am afraid lot of your readers will fail to make necessary adjustments to your 3-bet charts.

See the charts at PokerCoaching.com in the Tools section. Obviously you should adjust to whatever your opponents do incorrectly. That said, if you play closer to GTO than your opponents do, you will win money from them on average even if you have no clue what they do incorrectly.

8 hours live cash play would be about 160 hands in most casinos I reckon.

Why would you want other people to get good at poker other than to know what you've taught them so you can exploit them if you ever play vs them? lol...

    - you are not playing aggresiv enough - dont be leading with marginal hand sorry but its not making a lot of sense....if i need to play agressiv, i miss the flop most of the time. when i'm not leading or rasing with those hand, i am mostly raising preflop and then go check fold....doesnt sound + EV 🤷🏻‍♂️ i get not betting on the flop - but i dont need to be aggresiv preflop then...

Don’t lead out of position with marginal hand because your opponents can raise you a lot. If you are in position then you can bet marginal hand on the flop. You need to bet mostly top pair and better and strong draws like open ended and flush draw, and mostly check middle pair and ace high and things like this

Pokerstars have made the stracture that way that it's impossible to have an edge..you can't have an edge on a 20-25bbs poker. Do the maths

Obviously not in online poker...The games online are much tougher than live. That said, you can still have a decent edge even at high stakes micro stakes games. Do the math.
