It to say these elite 4 and Kieran battles were hard but I will say that I appreciate so much that Pokemon/Gamefreak REALLY stepped it up a notch with the difficulty level. All the double battles even with the random trainers were so much more fun and interesting that they usually are. They’re usually a chore. That weird group of trainers with the masks on Kitakami actually made me stop and say woa ok these aren’t the usual. Then these double battles made me put some thought into it. I couldn’t just use whatever I had and use it as a quick exp gain. Much more fun, I hope they keep this trend up.

Came here to get advice as I'm on my fourth attempt, I thought I was gonna lose so I came searching for help. And I got a lucky critical hit which helped me turn the tide and I've now won....lol, thanks for the luck but video was really good.

Great job!

The way I beat him had a sequence: 1. Lead with H. Samurott and Meowscarada 2. Meowscarada killed Politoed with Flower Trick and H. Samurott damaged Dragonite with Ceaseless Edge. Spikes are set, removing Focus Sash effect for next Pokemon 3. Meowscarada went down to Hurricane but Alolan Ninetales emerged. Snow Warning removed the rain, KOing Dragonite in next turn. The next turns are basically just dealing damage to his mons until all are beaten.

i beat him with some of my original team (meowscarada, ceruledge & tinkaton) and also had primarina, gholdengo & baxcalibur. it was a breeze.

That's similar to the team I used, I had those first three too plus Koraidon, Ogrepon with the stone mask, and Garchomp. It wasn't too hard to beat him on the first try.

Bro I had a VGC team and he still took out half my team before I beat him. On a rerun I would probably be able to win with more Pokémon alive but going in blind was tough. VGC teams struggle I find though because they’re built for for 4v4 not 6v6 and the difference can be pretty big

Well, it was probably a 1v1 battle, and later you can see that Kieran had Polywrath instead of Politoed, which makes Dragonite a lot more useless. And of course, Grimsnarl and Incineroar are a lot less powerful in singles.

What EV spread do you use for both Pokémon?

Sp.Atk and HP on Greninja, Atk and Speed on Baxcalibur

Some people have much lower level pokemon, it's not hard for people who know pokemon games really well but is hard for people who are newer and don't know which pokemon are the best

0:58 alternatively, you can taunt the politoad first and take care of it from there

I brought iron hands to cover electric and fighting, and I broght toxtricity for poison to counter his grimmsnarl. I brought another Froslass that I’ve had since Legends Arceus just in case Baxcalibur didn’t make it to Hydrapple.
