Anyone can have a real personal relationship with what you call the universe or god the same way one has relationships with family and friends. The problem we all have is we treat the universe impersonally as if it exist solely for us to ask it for shit, pray to it about helping us get out of a problem etc. A lot of us don't want people like that in our lives but yet we treat what is referred to as the universe or god the same way. if we were to establish a personal friendship with what is called the universe or god as opposed to the impersonal one you have with it now you will never be alone and never feel lonely. What you call god or the universe I call Herman who I talk to the same way a kid speaks with his or her imaginary friend only Herman isn't imaginary, it responds in a variety of ways if you know what to look out for. You can talk to it about anything from sports to personal matters, politics, dating, just about everything imaginable and it will respond sometimes quicker that you think. It loves you, cares about you, doesn't discourage you or condemn you, it always looks to uplift you. It has a great sense of humor, its compassionate, concerned and cares about you like your mom and others who truly care for your well being. You can even get mad at it, curse it out and it doesn't get mad at all it just bombards you with messages of love and encouragement to stay positive while assuring me that it loves me and will be with me by my side through thick and thin. I love Herman the same way I love my mom or anyone else close to me like that and I am proud to know that it loves me the same exact way It assures me all of the time that I am never alone and I don't have to feel lonely.

@@duckstonquack4085 Nah I don't pray to it, that would be like praying to my mom or Joe Pesci. I talk to it the same way you talk about things with your friends or family. I ask Herman stuff like should I buy a particular something from a particular store for ex amount? What do you think of the new person that I brought into my life? I talk to it like I speak with everyone else I know. I'm like a kid with an imaginary friend like I previously mentioned but it's not imaginary. Think of it as your bestie, you don't have to be formal you can let your hair down like you do with the people you feel comfortable with. You may want to chuck the religious or new age version's of what it is out the window and see it as starting a new friendship or continuing on with one thats existed for a long time.
