I post new love life advice for you every weekend.

Happy New Year!
I’m going to keep this short, because I think this video is going to say it all, and be an incredibly powerful start to your year.
Do you want to be more confident this year? No, really. Not just say it, but BE it? Do you finally want to step into your life, feeling not just comfortable in your own skin, but owning it, ready to take on whatever challenges come your way?
If so, these 7 minutes might be the most important 7 minutes you’re going to have today, because they are going to shape your mindset for the entire year. Seriously.
In the video you’re about to see, one of our podcast listeners asked me what insecurities I struggle with, and how I maintain my confidence. This was my answer, and I genuinely believe it’s one of the most important things I’ve said in my career.
I’m ready to make this my most beautiful year ever. You in?

I think the fake it till you make it mentality truly works. I was never very confident to begin with but I started acting as if I was confident and loved myself and eventually, it became reality. Matthew always makes sense. Always sounds like he's actually genuinely been listening to people around him. Always gives me references. Reasonable things to think about, revisit. He's being honest about things both men and women think or do about themselves or other people. Personally, not things I don't already know, but hearing them again, like this, like a caring older brother or father or whatever; it just makes you confirm things. You trust him and so you keep trusting yourself and you keep moving. Stay grounded, buddy, as you are; wishing a happy 2021 to everyone.

This was a huge message, Matthew!!!! I was on the verge of making those epiphanies myself as the New Year snuck up on me. I've missed performing so much this year, and was listening to recordings from a Cabaret show I've done the weekend before New Years for the past two years. It was a much needed reminder of the talented bad ass that I am. I've been thinking a lot about what else I can do with my talents while still essentially stuck at home. My confidence comes from how far I've come that allows me to actually be able to accept myself and share my talents.

I LOVE this video. Exactly right, we've all been dealt cards in life that we then decide what to do with. What can we do with the cards we've been dealt in life? It's not going to be like anybody else's, only yours. And that's what we as individuals need to find out for ourselves and learn to be confident with. "These are the cards we've been dealt with and this is what I'm going to do with them.". Thank you so much, will inspire me to for one of my next videos on my channel 💜
