@JoanKSX
5 жыл бұрын
I don't believe this. But this might not happen on me because I dislike the high pitches of violin and the awkward holding position and I always broke the strings of violin 😂. Of course, the main reason is I can't do proper vibrato on a violin 😂 But I definitely can do easily on double bass or cello and I started my first play on double bass was in my 13 years-old year. And I play a proper Twinkle Little Star like in a week on a double bass.

When I got there the guy at the front said I could go in so I did not notice the pianist was about to start this huge Schubert sonata and I jut walked in and everybody, even the pianist stared at me for like 10 seconds that it took me to sit down. the most awkward moment ever
A few years ago my school band teacher literally got the whole band to watch this on a phone screen
THis is sooo awesome. Totally forgotten bout this. Thanx algorithm
the practice thing is so true. Before going to the concert hall/theater/other venue: practice. Arrive early before call time: practice. Post-call time break: still practicing. Right before getting on stage: practice.

Hey guys if anyone is wondering about the pieces in the background here's a list I made: 0:00 - Symphony No. 5 Movement I by L. van Beethoven 0:26 - The Blue Danube Waltz by Johann Strauss II 1:09 - Nocturne in C-sharp Minor by Frederic Chopin (posthumous) 1:19 - Pizzicato from Sylvia by Léo Delibes 1:34 - Nocturne in E-flat Major Op. 9 No. 2 by Frederic Chopin 1:45 - Sonata in C Major No. 16 Movement I by W. A. Mozart 2:17 - Mystery String Quartet that I literally cannot find for the life of me (Mozart? Haydn? I have no idea..) 2:36 - Eine kleine Nachtmusik Movement I by W. A. Mozart 2:53 - Pizzicato from Sylvia by Léo Delibes (Again! But near the end of the piece this time) 3:16 - Spring from Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi (further into the piece, not at the beginning) 3:52 - Finale from 1812 Overture by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Anyway, great job you guys, I love your videos! :)

And Pachelbel is accented on the second syllable. Leave Tchaikovsky's first name and patronymic to the professionals. Is Reger the only composer with a palindromic surname? Why? (Limit your answer to 10,000 words or less.) Why were you even born? Speaking of being born, save learning the French horn for your next reincarnation, if you don't return as a cockroach. Q: How long does a harp stay in tune? A: 20 minutes, or until someone opens a door, whichever comes first. As any ancient Roman could tell you, the two hardest things in the world are getting a musician to play, and getting him to stop. Sometimes the only way is with a sledgehamme

Thank you! I'm a little hurt that #17 didn't feature the double reed section (I am a bassoonist/contrabassoonist, and we double-reeders typically exhibit the "blame your instrument/reed" behavior; Not I, though...). Aside from my weird & reedy rant , you guys rock, and thaks again for dragging this peculiar lifestyle/career into the social media mix!
You missed commenting about reeds, there are so many things you could have said, like: realise that your favourite reed has broken just before the concert and you haven't been playing the others so you are going to sound horrible. Also, some mention about calling people by their instrument. "I was talking to the clarinet the other day...." :P
