Thanks so much for the videos... very helpful! Do you know if there's a way to batch stamp a bunch of exhibits with individual stamps on each separate document (i.e. D1, D2, D3, etc.)? But also, within each exhibit, stamp the corresponding page number (i.e. D1-001, D1-002, etc.)? I know how to do it individually but I have a ton of exhibits and doing it the usual way with Acrobat will take forever. I'm looking to find a way to do them all at the same time, if possible. Thanks again and I hope you start making more videos again soon.

Hello, Thank you so much for this video. I really learned a lot about Bates Stamping. I wanted to know how do you bates stamp multiple document at the same time without having to organize pages and physically move everything into one PDF and then bate stamp. That's a lot of trouble. Is there a way to bate stamp the documents at one time ? Thank you.

isn't a good idea to burn in the bates stamp so that it cannot change over time, possibly by accident. How does one burn in the bates stamp and at the same time preserve the bookmarks?

need to shrink document to appellate margins and bates stamp. My State, CA is 1.5 on sides and 1 inch on top. How do I do this? Second Q is can I bates stamp a portfolio, or what do I have to do to the portfolio before bates stamping?

hmmm. i'm not sure there's a way to do that. can you bates stamp and then add cover sheets? that will save you a boatload of trouble

I wonder why we can do it on Adobe Acrobat 7 and 10 and will not be able to do it on the more advanced?

Four years ago, but I hope you found the answer back then. On the "Add Header and Footer" dialog screen (example at 2:00), select "Page Range Options", then for "Pages from:" tell it which "page", which paper page, to start on. For instance, you might want to start numbering after the cover, title and dedication pages, so it would be "Pages from: 4 to 25" - it would then skip three paper pages, then number the rest from 1 to 22.

When I use the stamp on a 30 page exhibit , The stamp number are not moving sequentially throughout , like Exhibit 01 Page of 30. The second file says 01 instead of 02

What part in the settings makes the page numbers count automatically?

Our department with the state switched deapartments. IT mad ethe big switch last night. Now I only see Acrobat Reader and not Pro. I do not see bates numbering in Reader. I only see 5 tools. I only see stamp, stamps palette and custom stamps. I guess I will look up how to create a custom stamp. Ugh!!!😩 Update: I can just use fill and sign for now. Type out Exhibit _______.
