Very good, just completed this in the time it took to watch the video, good on you for directing people to the safe plugin and for explaining the process. Thank you
I just found this. I'm scanning old pics before the time of digital and many are dark. How easy this was and with good results. Thanks
Perfect...this was a great help. Exactly what I was looking for :) Thanks!
Excellent video that helped me immensely.... THANK YOU!!!
Now how did you know that I need exactly that feature right now? Good tutorial, right on time and to the point. Thanks
Thank you! I subscribed and liked.
Great video!! Thank you so much!
Perfect . . . just what I needed to convert images to .webp format. Thanks!

Thank you for the video

Thank you very much
Gracias Davies!!!!!!! Cuídate!!
Great thankyou
thank you
Thank you, been trying to find a way to do this since my original bimp install on linux broke.
Works smoothly! Shame that I cannot do this by built-in Preview which also lets batch processing but changing of JPG's quality is performed only to the first file.
Hi Mike, is there an option in BIMP to prevent GIMP to save photos in a default format? I'd like to have them open or better save them in a GIMP native format for future hand-manipulation.
Thanks for the explanation. How can I use the function "Filters -> Map -> Tile..." with BIMP?
Good tutorial. How do I make a color curve settings file for batch image color correction? I want to have the same "preset" for all 170 of my photos in my batch but when I look for the color curve settings file that I have saved and select it there is no change to the images after I run BIMP.
Great. Thanks for sharing. Do you prefer Autoretouch, an AI-powered image editing tool to automate ghost mannequins, clipping path, background removal, etc. image editing process? I found it super cool and easy to operate. Need your opinion regarding this.
Hello Mike, The effect I wish to batch-apply to multiple images is Filter > Artistic > Waterpixels. That option does not seem to be available using BIMP or is there another method?
Can I auto crop bulk random photos with black or white empty sides or borders?
Hi... just wondering can BIMP do batch MetaData editing on multiple PNGs like XnConvert that Patrice Laborda mentioned in their comment below?
is there a limit on the amount of images you can batch edit at once?
Is there the possibility to crop in ellipses??
Can I save this as like a favourite task so I don't have to put in all the information every time I want to churn through a bunch of photos on different days?
Heya is there a way to do this and just blur faces of people in the images?
please help . the exe file for bimp could find the gimp 2.10 installation folder ; even edit > preferences > folders did not work. windows 10
Are you able to open batches of RAW files using this as well? Or would I have to go through Darktable first, save them all as something else and then put them as a batch into GIMP? I just noticed that the stock photos were jpg so just wondering. I'm starting a mentorship with a photographer and if I could open RAW as a batch that would be amazing!

I second this question
how do you batch edit text? I need to change a letter
I wish they had a version of this that could use all the editing options D: I use gimp to make Icon's for rping on tumblr and it's such a pain editing screencaps one at a time T-T

BIMP does in a way. I discuss it in the premium version of the video.
Nice tutorial. Can you batch-edit the file extentions too, e.g., change '.png' files to '.jpg'?

I have *David's Batch Processor* as a GIMP plug-in instead, it does a very similar job with similar options ;)

@@DavidLeBlanc _because David's Batch Processor hadn't been updated in years._ Why do you need an update if it works just fine? On my distro, DBP works fine and is even way faster than BIMP, so an update of DBP for what? ;) I should give to BIMP that if you want, you can use your Script-Fu plugins which is a very nice plus over DBP, but a lot of them can produce errors. In all cases, if these scripts are helpful sometime (up to 20 or 30 images), I would say "Use the right software for the right job"... When I have hundreds or thousands even hundreds thousands pictures to batch process, I use XnConvert, that's a true image batch processor, which can process thousands images per minute and has way more options than BIMP or DBP (yes it's Fully free for *non-commercial* use, and for commercial use it's so cheap that's truly worth the price) ;)

Great video! Are you able to add a logo to a batch of photos using BIMP?

Thanks! Yes - use the Watermark option.
I wrote you about metadata (copyright) batch processing on another video & unfortunately I will have to do those 1000 or more images 1 at a time. 🤨. Or maybe I can do it in Digikam, soon to find out.
I downloaded gimp 2.10.32 installed successful. Download bimp win32 exe. error invalid gimp plugin folder ?? Please help.

don't worry about it u may uninstall the gimp and reinstall. it will recreate gimp2 folder again and the plugin automatically found his path.
Seems to be easy but does not have option to make alpha mask

I'm having an issue where when I open the download it says "the installer cannot find GIMP installation by itself" so then I click OK and I can't manually find the downloaded file. Any suggestions?

@@learnwithjero7292 I had the same issue and figured it out. You just need to manually link the plugin to wherever your GIMP files are located. So it should look something like this: C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Programs\GIMP 2 If you're using a windows setup, try to locate the file location in your Programs folder. :)
Gimp can open Photoshop Document files (PSD) but Bimp can't even see them in the folder. I just wasted my time.
