How often do you get hired as a one man band?

I work for an architecture firm as their media production specialist and I am 100% a one man band. Challenging at times for sure.

I really appreciate how you show everyone that there's more than one way to light a project. Almost every video has a different technique. It's awesome that you're willing to take risks to get the right lighting every time. Thank you, as always, for sharing!

I appreciate it! I am in very good position after buying so many lights and gear. Now I can get creative with what I have. Thank you for supporting the channel from the start!
I'm always amazed at how good a simple F22C can look, and it's so simple especially for a one-man-band shoot.
Never knew the Sidus app had a light meter. That's a win!

Thanks for showing us the F22c as an interview keylight. I was hoping to try one out but was worried about the limited size and output. How would you say it performs on your shoots?

I’m learning a lot from your videos, especially about matching the color temperature on your lights. How do you set white balance in your cameras?
nice work! I get to work a lot as one man band for dentists exclusively now, I'm editing one now lol I used to do music videos but since covid the artists can't afford them anymore, but It's keeping me so busy I have no time anymore for anything else. good point with the truck! or you can put a sign on your van that says Sewer Inspector or Fresh Fish. no one will break into those lol

what are your light stands? its hard to find a decent light stand that isnt a c-stand
@marinrealestatephotography
Ай бұрын
I don't know what Piotr uses, but I got a used Matthews B387487 light stand (spreader stand) for $35 at my local used camera store. The stand itself weigs around 7 pounds (so much lighter than a C Stand) and has a claimed capacity of 20 pounds. I also picked up a couple of Impact LS-96HABI that are pretty good, and again, bought them used for about $35 each. You might also look into the Kupo Classic Stand, which has a claimed capacity of 22 pounds and weighs under 6 pounds. I am sure there are others.

@@jpemile I'd get the C just to have the G/M shift adjustment. Too bad they don't make a lower cost version of these as CCT with G/M. I agree with @PDMokry it's only $200 more for the added flexibility and adjustably as the LEDs age.

@@PDMokry For sure its a quiet place. But setting the stand 12in higher and tilting the arm down will deliver the fixture to the same spot with no bar pointing out the back. A habit maybe worth developing. Its amazing how some folk have a habit of climbing through 'banned' areas!
