How to Bash Your Employer Respectfully

Li Hongyi likes his employer, but feels certain things could be much better. I explain ten techniques he used (or could have used) to give constructive and thoughtful feedback.
1. Give a bird's eye view of your criticism at the start.
2. Summarize the existing policy first. And what it's good for.
3. Then explain the weaknesses.
4. Give concrete suggestions to make things better.
5. Use analogies.
6. Be precise with your words.
7. Have a thoughtful and constructive tone.
8. Focus on issues that primarily affect the organization, not you.
9. Make sure you talk about good things as well.
10. Use internal channels first.
