    As a newbie car mechanic, I agree with you. But for this video, adobomoto is teaching bikers where to stick wheel weights. The wheel might've been perfectly balanced before adobomoto demonstrated how to balance a bike wheel, so that's why there were a pair of wheel weights stuck on the mags.

  • @The_Baker_Social

    @The_Baker_Social

    9 ай бұрын

    I prefer the beads because you don't have to fumble around getting the weights just right and you don't have them on your wheel and no worries about losing any. Just pour in the beads and you're good to go. The recommended amount for my R1 is 1 gram in the front and 2 grams in the rear. I haven't had any vibration issues. Not going to lie, it's a pain to get into angled valve stems. If you're good with changing tires, you could add the beads before the tire beads are seated (i just didn't want to risk losing any). I've used beads for years without issue. I haven't heard of gel.. I'll have to look into that!

  • @CenPapi

    @CenPapi

    10 ай бұрын

    Iirc you only need to balance on one axis for motorcycle tires since they are through axle, narrower, and rounded, unlike car tires where it's a big flat contact patch and they are mounted at the ends of the axles. I could be wrong, however I do know that this is how they balance wheels for MotoGP and if it's good enough for race teams it's good enough for me.

  • @CenPapi

    HELP PLEASE i have a new but left over 2022 triumph scrambler XC…..the ride is always bumpy. new paved roads are bumpy. if you were to ride this bike in a track the ride would be bumpy old paved roads are bumpy. the ride is always bumpy. my bike is a 2022, which i bought this week in june of 2023. considering it’s a left over i’m thinking it has been sitting in the showroom for a long time and one or both tires have a flat spot. as that flat spot hits the ground on every revolution, it will feel bumpy. i could be wrong but that’s the only thing i can come up with. unless the suspension needs tuning. even if the suspension needs tuning the ride should be smooth of pavement, especially a newly paved road. this is why i think it’s flat spots on the tires. have not che led the tire pressure, assuming the pressure is correct from the dealer. your thoughts ?
