Just wanted you to know this video deserves 100 thumbs up! The only solution that works for me was the app I have tried everything else and am a very tech savvy person and for some reason nothing wanted to work correctly and transfer all contacts other than that app. Saved my life!

Take it to the Apple store. Everything else I've read about it is either convoluted or requires paying and trusting and third party.

I used my contacts backup app. I does not work, it keeps saying I don't have and email account??? WTF

if there is no icloud or other account and we update the phone i mean iphone 7 etc and we lost our data for example contacts . can it be recoverd ?

Hello, i wish i watch this video before i backup my iphone using itune fo my contact. Now i lost all my contact after I did the backup yesterday. But I don't have my contacts save on iclound. is there a way to restore my contact. By the way, the sync contact is unchecked when i backuping up my iphone....i should have watch your video before that, sigh...please help

I am getting a new iphone. I have a iphone 7 now. I checked the icloud and hardly any of my contacts from my phone are on there. I checked to see if the Contacts button was on , on my iphone and it is. Backup was done last night... help!! I want the contacts on my phone to migrate to icloud so I can just download them to new phone tomorrow

I kinda messed it up like I was supposed to get my new iPhone but then I deleted all my apps . It still gon be there cuz I have my iCloud and all my info but the main part is that I was confused and don’t know how to make it stop the ‘ maybe’ On my message. And when I see the numbers on my contact I can’t really tell which is who. I just wish I can go back and stop doing to make it worse. It say i only have 30 days to recover my ICloud to disable or something.

This is true. But I believe that what he is proposing are different ways to backup your contacts, both automatically (with syncing) and manually (having the contacts on a spreadsheet. But yes, contacts are saved to the SIM, but any extra information (i.e. Name, Home/Mobile and location) is negated.

I phone add a old gmail id and new gamil I'd sync. With any problem in old gmail id

You forgot to say that you're supposed to turn contacts back on and choose merge. It was really confusing man. But thanks.

I didn't ask for an app, just how to back up to iTunes. I will assume that you don't know.

Your contacts on your SIM card may not have been imported. On your iPhone Click Settings>Contacts>Import SIM Contacts Then do a backup. Choose where to save, I suggest to iCloud. See how that works.

Thanks for the video. Who would have thought u could have contacts seamlessly updated on google and never worry about syncing or contacts not showing up on whatsapp or a being a rocket scientist to have contacts updated which u keyed in yourself or having to install a third party app to help the best and most expensive phone in the world do what a 50 buck phone can do. Android anyone!!
