Daniel you are a life savior! Thank you for this balloon method. I would have never thought of using a balloon to practice on to help with my heavy-handed-ness. I have to try this. Thank you for sending me these links again. Blessings to you and your family brother! You are appreciated!

Thank you Ben! I appreciate your support and feedback. Haha yea When I thought of the idea I figured I would try it for fun. Low and behold this is a pretty unique exercise that could potentially change someone's perspective on being heavy handed. I was surprised to find out how hard I had to try to actually blow out a balloon. Have you tried this exercise on your end? Should you ever have any questions along your journey don't hesitate to leave a comment and I will do my best to assist you in the best possible direction.

I finally tattooed on a balloon, I was so proud as it was a rose, as it was for dislpay I deflated the balloon to make it a little more bigger but bursted, I believe it was the shading I put, bought a more thicker balloon and did a simple Mandala 90° all the way which is now on display, the answer regarding to Jesse James post, he had personally stated that it's not about the wrong or right way to tattoo, this video is for artist with heavy hands to avoid blowouts and how one should prevent that from happening by trying out this simple techniques by practicing on a balloon, wé as professionals and beginners knows by now where the dermis is, and yes the balloon would blow up if we were to tattoo as we would on a real skin, this video is about exercises for those with heavy hands so they would apply that knowledge and be comfortable the next time they are tattooing

I haven't watched the whole video yet, but I wanted to ask if you have tired anesthesic lotions? I did my first tattoo last sunday and Im sure I only inserted the needle 1mm-1.4 mm max bcs my friend was feeling so much pain, I almost didn't hear the sound of the skin breaking, most of the ink went in the surface. So she will update me on the healing and we'll try again when it heals, using anesthesia this time. But Ive read that a lot of tattoers don't like to use it, some bcs they think since the lotion makes the skin bleed less and the person won't feel the pain you will not know if yyou're doing it wrong. I still want to use it but idk if I should, what do you think? (sorry if the redaction is bad, I'm still learning english)

Pain numbing cream or lotion when using, you have to wait minimum 30 minutes before tattoing, how long after applying the lotion did you start tattooing and the brand that you use?

@@PsykotikTattoo_ACUS I didn't use lotion at first bcs she said it wasn't necessary, but when it started hurting her I put her some lotion as indicated in the instructions (I dont have the lotion with me for the name but it said it should be applied while tattooing)

I would highly recommend TKTX numbing cream, I sometimes use it when I tattoo the palm, blackouts, you know where the super painful parts of the body are I think, but used it rarely as I wanted my clíents to really feel good and going through the process of being able to be tattooed in the most extreme and painful parts of the body raw, and please read the Instructions on all their products, and never use it if self tattoo

Not sure this really translates cuz at least with rotaries you have to apply some pressure to get to the right depth and the balloon doesn’t have that depth.
