Hey, who is your hairdresser? ;-) I am repeatedly amazed and impressed by what TaskMagic can do. Also, for the first time, I see that you can click on "Data in" and "Data out" and get the corresponding output. Awesome! Is it safe to do the automation this way without random delays? I am concerned about the frequent refreshing and the equal time of writing theessages.. I don't have experience in RPA so I am only wondering

heads up: trying to record clicking the "okay lets go" popup when you first login sometimes acts funky and will not allow you to click "confirm" even though it has found the element. Also, and tips for signing in through google when you have 2 factor on?

Ok I think we have an update coming for a similar issue/fix. When you get that update today/tomorrow let me know if you still get it persisting. And for Google auth if you’re on tier 4 you should use the “apps” to connect via Google. Try that and lemme know ;)

Do I have to buy upur addon (monthly pay 19$) to use google sheets? What is "Buttons (trigger runs on-the-go)" do i need this also? And what is the difference between tier 3 and 4 (webhooks) - is it to work with e.g. google calendar or gmail?

If you’re coming from appsumo and you’re on tier 4 the $19/mo addon is INCLUDED ;) and you don’t need the buttons addon if you don’t want. You can run from your computer just fine. Also if you’re tier 4 you get access to the “apps” and there is a Google calendar and gmail app

Newbie question. Now that it is 8 months later there is no more “Record Manually” button. Is there a way to record manually now? I’m trying to follow along on “Web” and getting a little stuck. It’s mentioned that you could do this in Guided Templates but I’m having trouble there too. TLDR; I’m trying to replicate this but am having difficulty because things have changed since then

Thanks for the automation. Is there a way to verify that the prompt has completed before moving to the next step? Sometimes the prompt stops but needs to be manually told to continue so the prompt is completed. So its stopped running but not all the task have been completed.

You CAN set a randomized delay step and then continue though. Have you tried that? Bc you can delay for a set period if you know it

Also, Jason you should try to use “allow error” for the step if it may or may not happen and then you can use filter / scrape to see if it’s present.

With the loop option in sheets can we have Run once as an option ? So i do not have to leave it set to an hour. As i have a task that i would like to run as and when i need it but i would like to run it in the cloud

the loop has you pick a schedule (in his case he picked hourly) for when it should run when turn on. If you want to run it whenever you want then just don't ever turn it on and click play steps however this means it will run from desktop. We don't have a way right now to run it immediately from cloud without you scheduling it and turning it on ;)

I am trying to change the text in a product's title and description using ChatGPT to create fresh content. First, I scrape the current text from the product. Then, I go to the ChatGPT tab and type a prompt that includes the scraped text. After I get the new text, I return to the product page. I need to highlight the current text, delete it, and paste the new text. However, I have trouble recording the delete keypress. When I click to focus on the window, it records the click instead of the keypress. How can I highlight and delete the text to replace it?

I tried to recreate this automation with the recent changes in Chat GPT, but I did not succeed. "Regenerate" is now only an icon, no more text. So how to recreate this automation now?

There should be some sort of text indication. Scraping the icon and checking “exists” should fix that. If it doesn’t, we need to make an adjustment to scrape text that allows them to specify an alternate property to scrape. I’ll work on something now

If you highlight over the selector you’re wanting to use it should be there. If it’s not you can inspect element to make sure. OR you CAN change it after the fact by using the “full X path”

I add the google cookie and it lets me past that step.. However I cant use my phone number even after removing my cell phone from my google account sign on infected Chat GPT. So I guess I am stuck. I have issues with the bar not moving out of the way, it just says I can move it but it wont go anywhere. I just get stuck before the check if done scrape step because I can't click on the enter text area because of the bar blocking it. Normally the bar moves. Not when I need it to tho.. Can we put the cookies we will need from the very beginning? I am having issues getting anywhere. NGL very frustrating to be this dumb and try to do smart people stuff. In all honesty though, I’ve always said this about products i buy. I don’t want to talk to support, so support should never really be the reason you buy a product. The product needs to be strong enough to stand on its own. Just my take. The product isn’t perfect just let us know what the issue issue and we’ll get there
