I was able to do this on the steam deck. The menus and mapping are a little different, but the basic gist is the same. Thanks for the video!

How did you managed to work it out on the Steam Deck? Can you give a example on a step by step tutorial on a game you set it up on

For some reason I don't have the turbo setting you do, in any game I try it on.

Works for everything except the triggers. No matter what I do I cannot get the triggers to turbo. Sometimes, for no reason, I can get ONE of the triggers to turbo. If I use the exact settings on the other button, it doesn't work. I'm using an 8 button fight stick, and I can only get turbo to work for 6 of them. Pissing me off

A possible problem for the trigger buttons is that you use the first activation for turbo. The first one happens when you start pulling the trigger. The 2nd occures when you hold the button itself. This can cause turbo only to activate only at the start when pressing down on the trigger. Hope this helps

@@BlueHarvey so i finally was able to troubleshoot for trigger buttons on why they won't work the same. you have to turn analog off in their options if you set it to turbo! i'm looking forward to the new video!

Thats a very good question. I personally don't own a steamdeck nor can I even purchase one (they wont deliver them to my country), so I sadly can't answer this question.

@@BlueHarvey That's very unfortunate, as the Steam Deck is picking up steam. No pun intended. More and more countries are being added on the list, hopefully it'll release on your country and hopefully by chance you can do a similar tutorial on how to do this on the Steam Deck in the future. I've searched around youtube, and your the only video who even came close to showing us on how to do it, although not on the Steam Deck, but still, close enough.

Anyway to make it faster?

The fastest click per second rate is shown in the video. Faster than that is not possible without using other programms. Keep in mind that if you have the turbo setting as high as possible, that the inputs can be faster than the game can register. This is the case if your game runs below 60fps.

I follow your instructions, instead A, I did x, binding for x botton , click the turbo and everything just like you said , click done , and nothing happens

You have to click "Hold to Repeat (Turbo)" and put that on on. Now in game, if the X button is not used or rarely ever used and you use the Turbo function, it probably won't work. Another thing that could be the case, if you use it on a game that runs at a very low FPS (30 or lower could be the culrpit), that your Turbo is going so fast that the games frames can't even handle the amount of inputs. I honestly don't know what else I could be the case, and I hope I was able to help.

@@BlueHarvey maybe is doesn’t work Becouse I use the steam deck controller it self ? Your tutorial was for Xbox or ps controller, maybe you could try doing it on steam deck controller it self and see how it go ? If you don’t mind ofc doing it , that will be helpful for me n others, thank you

@@ivo3777 I don't own a Steam Deck and I can't even order one, Valve/Steam does not ship Steamdecks to my country xD. But yeah, I honestly don't know about the steam deck. Maybe you have to dig deeper for that one? Dunno.
