Year and a half into a relationship with the girl who was my "impossible" crush for eight years, the only thing I have to say, beside that this is very accurate... Is that I regret not having the courage to ask her out sooner She was in the same position as me, and we both put up walls because we were afraid we were going to be obvious and "ruin" the friendship Be courageous, be brave... What's the worst thing that can happen? If you get a no, you still end in the same spot you began in

However, I still think you should talk about your feelings with your crush, again, talk maturely, be responsible, clear, talk about what you find great about this person, be willing to listen to what they say, without taking it too personal, and above anything else, don't expect anything good or bad I know the fear of losing that friendship is paralyzing, but I have learned that, if they are mature, and their response a negative, they'll aknowledge your feelings and even if it's awkward for a while, they'll be there for you after the dust it's settled and you'll feel better

I have a question that I REALLY need an answer to: How do you get over a built up obsession over someone else, whom you will most likely never be with. I'm talking about a chronic obsession, one that is starting to affect daily life, health, etc. This is especially pertaining to people who require a very strong bond with the person of interest before wanting to have them as a romantic partner, such as a longtime friend. The reason why it's so difficult to let go is because you've known them so long, it's difficult to recreate the same type of bond with someone new.

i think i know how to help, for me i found myself highly fascinated over someone who became my best friend. apparently this person was just “that great” that i started having dreams about them (nothing weird, just us two vibing and having fun) and i was honestly annoyed with the amount of time i dreamt about this person and got it confused with a crush but every time i imagined myself and them in ANY romantic situation just made me internally cringe. the best advice i have is to make space from them, for me it took two years for me to stop dreaming about them or to stop thinking about them constantly, so: - make some space - find something else to fill that space - take some time to do things that you enjoy (drawing, playing a game with other friends, cooking) for me i eventually lost contact with them (just because we stopped being interested in the same things so conversation was difficult to keep up), im not sure if this helps, but just remember to find something else to fill the space otherwise you’ll go straight back to them :) (also i should mention that this person and i used to ft every day, every night and just chat about how our day went or we would just listen to music and laugh, so we were VERY close but like i said before we lost contact due to not really having anything to talk about to one another)

Have you confessed? I think confessing and letting all those feelings out can help. That way if you get rejected you'll know for sure that they don't feel the same and wont hold on to false hopes. Then maybe it might make it easier to slowly distance yourself, both for your own good and for theirs. Try focusing on yourself and the things you enjoy, keeping yourself busy, staying productive can help keep your mind off that person. Just know it'll take time but you can do it

@@Electirc yeah if they've made it clear the best thing to do is just accept it, and do your best to move on with your life. You kind of have to swallow your pride but over time if you just fill your mind up with other things gradually those obsessions will begin to diminish. And someone else will come along eventually, patience is super important. It's a skill I need to work on as well

Every year around Halloween time, the thought of whatever girl im into at the moment going to a halloween party dressed like a sexy devil or some shit makes my stomach turn. Mainly because in high school, this girl i was talking to went to a party, got drunk and started hoeing around. My friends all roasted me for falling for a hoe who "sucked maad dicks at that party"... she had a bf but was still trynna hang out and drink w me late nights after work, so i always knew she had hoe tendancies (even tho i never hooked up w her behind her BFs back like she wanted to... i wanted her to be my girl)... so i just stopped talking to her after that and now im over party chicks. Got enough trust issues as is, a chick who is super social and goes out a lot is a lot for me to handle, i like a chill chick.

I recently started questioning my feelings for a new classmate of mine. I kinda like him, but if someone asked me why I wouldn't really have an answer to that. When I first met him, his whole vibe made me uneasy actually, he acted like a gentleman but he also acted indifferent and uncaring. Idk how to accurately explain it, but how he was acting seemed like just a front. But the more I talked to him and joked with him, the more interested I became. Idk, I'm mostly doubting myself because I've never confessed my feelings before, so this is all new to me.

Same. I’ve liked him for 6 months but now I don’t know anymore. He looks nice but sometimes he acts a bit like a jerk. Maybe that’s just because he’s around other people so he tries to keep the tough guy title or something. Now I have another and he’s much nicer, like to everyone.
I just asked my crush out. It was hard getting over that nervousness but it's better to have a yes (she said take things slow but yes :D ) or a no as opposed to that nagging sensation of never asking, that thing will eat you alive.

I find these videos really helpful and i usually watch them a few times to help retain the information. My teen years were full of many mistakes that I don’t want to repeat. Sure it was full of a lot of heartbreak because I didn’t succeed once(or at all to this day), but I’m not gonna let that get me down. I’ve just gotta keep being me and I’ll find that special someone. Others who share my situation, please don’t be discouraged. I always hated hearing the cliche advice, but it’s cliche for a reason, it’s the truth. You have to learn to move past mistakes and heartbreak and embrace it as a part of your growth/journey.
I’m just going to say never be worried about being put in the friend zone. You may not go out with them but at least you still have a good friend. Their are plenty more people out there.
She said no. But don’t let the deaf of rejection stop you. I was scared of rejection but I still asked her out and I’m proud of that. I know it’s really hard to build the courage to ask someone out but it’s totally worth it. You probably end up crying and go out for a run at 1 am but you’ll feel much better (maybe she wasn’t the one meant to be, you’ll find someone else) and the ones who aren’t sure if you should ask ur crush out just go for it n all the best ❤❤ and the ones who got rejected WE GO JIMMMM 💪🏼💪🏼

When you ask them out, the answer won't always be "yes" or "no". Lots of people are afraid of saying "no" because they fear it may offend or hurt your feelings, so they'll dance around the question instead of giving you a clear answer. And their positive answer needs to be clearly assertive because even a "yes" can be a "no" if they are sounding like they're scared of you. If they're scared they may be saying "yes" just to calm you down, but they won't show up at the date. The solution for this? Simply ignore anything that isn't a straightforward AND confident "yes." Otherwise, you should discard the date immediately and respectfully tell them "thanks, but forget what I said" and move on. Don't waste time with people who seems to be afraid of you.
Greet video, nice as always, keep it up!

I don't know if anyone is going to read this but I don't really care. If I could give you one tip, it would be this one: I know it sounds stupid and too obvious, but you just have to talk with them. You can send them also a message if you want. If you don't talk to them, nothing will happen. I asked my crush, and now we're together since 4 months! Hope I helped someone with this little text :D

POV: you’ve been talking to your crush for 2.5 years but haven’t asked them out bc they most likely don’t like you

I just got rejected and im still kinda sad but watching this video make me wonder why am i so sad.Btw love your video!!!
Ha this hit me real bad at the end. It’s just so hard to move on sometimes tho. Yah I’m still hanging in with this.
For those of you who wonder why there are comments from months ago on this vid which was published today: *this video already existed months ago although it was unlisted, they just made it public today*
alright lets see what happens today!
4:02 LOL That conversation isn't the best of a non-creepy way of asking someone out. Other than that, great advice and video!
That thumbnail is genius
Thank you very muchhh
The day I was going ask my crush out, one of my mates got with her. And every day she told me how much she likes him, to me... When I liked her... Pain...😭
My crush left to Hawaii for a week, and on the day she was getting back, I left to travel across my state to see family. I’ve missed her, and stumbled upon one of these videos, and realized I have feelings for her. I’m currently debating between telling her soon after I go back home, or waiting until a dance in January. I’m luckily alone with her most weekdays, so going for the sooner time could work. When I get the courage, or just have the ever so powerful 3 AM motivation, I might just text her about it, go to sleep and hope for the best. It could work, but that’s just a theory.

Don't ask them out at the 3am pls. In person would be best, and it can be to go do something casual just the two of you

@@alexandred.4248 Yes, I’ve learned my lesson
I used to think I was kinda bad at flirting because people would react awkwardly to it, but perhaps it just meant I'm alright at flirting but those people just weren't interested. The alternative to thinking about this stuff and growing is not thinking about it and wasting my time, so thanks for the vid.

Not for doing this in practical, but your videos help a lot when I'm writing my novels!
In the middle of befriending.
Just forget about it, focus on your life goals and achieve something in life. My advice😂
