It's only for the top performers. Not everyone is a top performer. Make something for the average level employees as well. And not everyone is doing sales. Show something for a content marketer or digital marketer or maybe someone dealing with a layoff situation. It would be quite realistic.

Work Hard and gain a spot in the top performers and you don't even have to ask for raise.. 60℅ of the employers offer best they possibly can to the top performers. All depends on your hard work and your level of focus towards your work.

I would suggest looking at another job in 2 years because from my experience I've seen that companies can never match offers for a job change. Don't know why, it doesn't make sense to me either, but it is what it is. So just save time and effort and switch.

it seems i am new to this system but for salary increments it's the recommendation of our project managers that supercede everything not human resources. Infact HR has absolutely no role in our salary hikes. Everything is decided by project managers or team leads directly including what % hike we'll get based on our performance as they know it better than anyone else. So no role of HR here.

This is too idealistic, most of the cases this will never happen anywhere, in 2 years you will have most probably an informal relationship with the manager and can directly talk to your manager casually. If you will tell them that other recruiters are reaching out then they will try to create your backup as soon as you mention them. There is a very high chance that they may not give you a raise in the next cycle. If you are a top performer then the backup will be created more quickly. The suggestions in most of the videos are very scripted and don't work in the real world. If you are a top performer you won't have to ask for a raise in most cases and if you are not then most of the time nobody cares.

@@rach992 It''s all about supply and demand. Money depends on market and how easily one could be replaced. Like in 2020 there were mass layoffs followed by mass hiring in 2021. In 2020 orgs predicted that they won't have work, whereas in 2021 they had fewer resources to work due to mass layoffs in 2020.

Not a great advice..... If you do this, they may temporarily raise your salary but can't match your other offers for sure.... And they might be just buying some time from you to find your replacement...once they do, they may kick you out Or, they won't keep any trust on you as you tried jumping out once and you will do it again anytime Or, whenever there are tough times, you will be first in their hit list When you get another offer, don't bargain, just leave silently Don't speak malaria problems with mosquitoes

Not sure why but most companies dont do counter offers or try to match with offer you got from another company. But they will hire another reaource with same skillset and offer more. Sofrom my experience the content in the video works with few companies but mostly it wont so be cautious and get a good offer in hand.

This reply doesn't work much nowadays. Especially when it comes to MNCs, they get so many applications anyway. They actually have a policy not to raise salary this way. They have one excuse for this which cannot be countered, they say if we do this for one then everyone else starts asking for the same. If we break the policy for one person then we have to break it for others as well. This cannot happen. They might try to retain you with other options like giving the desired shift or team, in some cases WFH too, or even will be willing to other job profile in the company if you are not satisfied with current job role like shifting to HR, or other department or any other easy project that too if the company is really good one. Or if the company is not a good one, they will simply say okay good bye.

Many ppl might not agree but honestly for small companies let go those employees who says they’ve been offered raise from current Ctc in other organisations High chances that those companies are funded startup the way they hire aggressively, offer big raise from current package in the same way you’ll be fired aggressively for small reasons and HR can also use it as rebuttal and as a HR influencer in your videos also try to provide rebuttal instead of agreeing everything what employees comes up with considering all size of companies or do mention in your video that this can be done by small midsized or big companies Jan hit mai jari

They have one excuse for this which cannot be countered, they say if we do this for one then everyone else starts asking for the same. If we break the policy for one person then we have to break it for others as well. This cannot happen. They might try to retain you with other options like giving the desired shift or team, in some cases WFH too, or even will be willing to other job profile in the company if you are not satisfied with current job role like shifting to HR, or other department or any other easy project that too if the company is really good one. Or if the company is not a good one, they will simply say okay good bye.
Many ppl might not agree but honestly for small companies let go those employees who says they’ve been offered raise from current Ctc in other organisations High chances that those companies are funded startup the way they hire aggressively, offer big raise from current package in the same way you’ll be fired aggressively for small reasons and HR can also use it as rebuttal and as a HR influencer in your videos also try to provide rebuttal instead of agreeing everything what employees comes up with considering all size of companies or do mention in your video that this can be done by small midsized or big companies Jan hit mai jari
