I made a video on how to uninstall and install a BMW armrest specifically on a f22 m235i
The process is the same for most F series cars including 1 series 2 series 3 series 4 series as well as m2 m3 m4
its pretty much the same for E series including e90 e92 e93 e82 cars

    hi, Andrew How would you go about removing the center armrest Leather trim . so far I have managed to remove the lead from the main assembly as per your video instructions but can’t seem to remove the actual lead the leather is glued to . Thank you Loke

    Hey, I find the armrest pad a bit too thick and high. I often lift the armrest lid just to get it out of the way of my elbow (I dunno , maybe I just have freakishly long arms or something). Do you know of any armrest versions out there that are low profile? I'd even be willing to give up the extend/retract feature on the armrest. Thanks either way.
