How to APPLY What You Read (Index Tab Method) + Free Notion Template
Practical books offer us guidance on how to achieve a set of goals, usually on top of the theory that provides a basis for them.
But assuming we accept the author's terms for the ends and the means -how do we actually take the lessons and apply them?
This video is a four-step method using index tabs for finding and applying the main lessons in practical books.

I catch myself thinking that I practically don’t read practical books. Despite this, the video is quite interesting. I might want to read Robert Kiyosaki's books in the future (just kidding). If I get the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius as a practical book and apply all the thoughts in my life. Maybe I can become one of the Gods, who knows =)

What is a practical book?
I would love to see a video addressing a problem i have when i try to apply systems like this. More and more of the content of the book seems to me like it needs to be underlined, highlighted, and tabbed, until there is so little content that isnt noted in some way, that it becomes meaningless, because it's almost all highlighted and the side of my book is bristling with tabs like a hedgehog. If i try to takenotes, i copy almost the whole book and then i give up, feeling totally overwhelmed. Have you ever addressed this in a video or would consider making a video about it. I'm probably not the only person who does this. Thank you!!

I suffer from this too; writing more than I have to. And like you say, it becomes too much sometimes. Equally, some books do just have that much interesting insight to talk about. I definitely want to cover how to get around the excess of it though.
