How to Apply Wall Decals in a Polka Dot Pattern | DIY Polka Dot Nursery Heart Wall! ❤

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this #craftcoreDIY video I'll teach you how to apply wall decals in a polka dot grid pattern. We'll use a vinyl cutting machine (Cricut Maker) to make the decals, then use a cardboard template to space out the design. Hearts make a super cute decal but you can use any shape you'd like! I LOVE Polka Dots! 💜💜💜

Who knew the pronunciation of decal was so controversial? 😂 I grew up with my family pronouncing it "Deckle". Maybe it's an older generation Canadian thing? My dad was born in the 1940s and my mom in the '50s. There are definitely some regional differences in pronunciation around the globe, and even province to province. Here is some info if you're curious about that: whatsdifferentincanada.tumblr.com/post/61849319951/decals Let's be kind to each other. Thank you for watching, lots of love. xoxo

Until I started looking for instructions on decal application I had only heard this word pronounced Dee Kal. I was tickled to hear about how different regions pronounce it differently and I appreciate the enlightenment

Love it. I bought decals over a month ago to redo our half bath and you are the only person I have found who gave specific instructions on decal application. On your question: keep the accent wall and decorate the other walls with touches of the heart color. Thank you for your channel. It's great!

I really needed this tutorial today. You have made it look so easy. Thank you. In the south, we say DEE-cal for decal. I honestly didn't even pay attention to how you pronounced it. I read the comments, and that's why I told how we pronounce it. There are a LOT of words pronounced differently depending on where you're from. My (now deceased) father-in-law said "far" for fire. He was born and bred in Alabama, and rarely ever left the state. There are some folks back there that say "crick" for creek. Did you end up doing all four walls or just keep an accent wall? I love the idea of the nursery and hearts. It's so subtle, yet very sweet.
