I would definitely suggest washing your wigs before you put them on, sometimes I do & sometimes I don’t but we definitely should be.

I got it from H&M a few years ago

Did it get really dry and tangled up after a while? And also am I able to run a comb through it without ruining it?

No I havnt had any problems with it I just re installed it the other day as well, I just wet it with some curl product and use a detangling bush
