Hello Maam, thank you for sharing these videos. I am learning a lot! Just wanted to get clarity on the part where it asks for your info under “teaching in new zealand.” Does it only apply to those who have teaching experience in NZ? For those first-timers, the credentials will come from outside NZ or from PH since I’m a Filipino.

When you apply for your registration It was different for me because I studied at a university here. I had to provide proof of language proficiency then. Therefore, when I applied for a teacher's registration, I didn't have to provide it again.

You should be able to see it on the Teaching Council/Hapori Matatū website. It is written in your practising certificate.

I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree with B.Ed certificates, as well as NZQA assessments for different levels. Could you please guide me on what needs to be certified? Thank you.

@@roumaisamalick5112 If it's NZQA assessment that you're aplying for, yoy can go ahead. They might tell you that you need more credits (practicum). The same thing happened to me, I missed my practicum so I had to do further study. You can give it a go though.
Is it difficult to get teaching job in newzealand..? A bit confused whether to take this step..am at a point of life that i cant take a wrong decision..expecting honest opinion..

Not that difficult but some people find it hard to stick with teaching. It's rather challenging but it's a perfect fit for a resilient person. Hope that helps.
