    Oh okay, I happened to wash my hair Nezzi this past Thursday and I used JBCO grow strengthen and restore, which has protein in it. I used the clarifier (mixed w/ oil i added), masque and Leave-in...my hair was hard like a rock, even after the leave-in. Maybe too much protein for my hair? TFS the video. I'm just trying to use up products I have.

    I absolutely agree I am the same way I will cut that mess off in a heartbeat ...it doesn’t make sense to have long hair but got 15 inches of spilt raggedy ends and we can see all your life through the ends lol. That does more harm than good to your hair to keep those disrespectful ends. Nezi I thought I was the only one who put grease on the back of my hand and get go to work with greasein my scalp. Liz Napoleon Hi, Liz! I protein treat around 2 to 3 times a year, but, in the beginning of my journey, I used to protein treat every 3 to 4 weeks, because, my hair was damaged and weak. Since my hair is healthy, there's no need to do it, so often; just to keep it balanced with moisture and strong.

  • @NeziNappsakaNezi

    @NeziNappsakaNezi

    4 жыл бұрын

    Thank you! You'll know if it's overdone, if your hair is super dry, hard and won't absorb or hold moisture. If so, try using an apple cider vinegar rinse, by applying it to the scalp and rinse with cool water. ACV RINSES (apple cidar vinegar) usually balances every thing out.

  • @NeziNappsakaNezi

    @NeziNappsakaNezi

    5 жыл бұрын

    No, I did not shampoo it out, because, protein treatments are conditoners. I shampooed my hair, first, then rinsed out the protein treatment. Then, I followed it up with a moisturizing conditioner, to add the moisture back in and rinsed it out. After that, I moisturized and sealed with my moisturizer and hair grease.

    Hi Nezzi, I do watch ANTM! I absolutely loved the last show...that black guy that had the wild hair, but then the cut it off b/c they felt like it was a distraction. Although I think he might have been gay, which is sad for the single ladies, lol, I thought he was nice looking. I think his name was Daryl? He liked posing crazy...Thanks for the update...Do you watch the Bachelor? If you do, I wish the next Bachelor could've been Eric. He was so genuine, and cute! It starts January 1st. Lol at people getting back to you late...I honestly had nothing on my mind...esp. when I get off of work at 11:30pm...I've got nothing!

    So breakage is due to lack of moisture or needing protein and moisture?

  • @NeziNappsakaNezi

    @NeziNappsakaNezi

    6 жыл бұрын

    Breakage comes from many places, but, mainly, from dryness. If our hair becomes, too dry, it becomes, brittle and weak. So, yes! Lack of moisture is one of the problems and possibly, not enough protein. My hair breaks if it's too dry and not enough protein. I had to learn how to balance the two. My hair doesn't break, as easily, like it did when I first started my journey. It took, years, to learn what my hair needed.
